Would you believe Carl deleted all the constructive comments and left all of the "suck-up" ones?
I guess it's time to put some more in .... right?

i actually feel for the first time really "right" about something... .
I started enjoying my free time. Then, I started filling that free time dating.
haven't read the posts on the other thread yet - will do so asap.
in the meantime, had a long day myself, did not got for a walk, worked nine hours without a break!
busy day, had breakfast, only a yogurt for lunch, was glad to come home and have a bowl of cereal.
WEEK 1 = - 5 lbs.
after reading tms's thread on elders appointed by holy spirit, i thought of a really weird example of how stupid some elders are.. i was driving one day in service and was going to the door with an elder that i was not particularly fond of.
as we approached the house, a bird flew over and crapped on the shoulder of his white shirt.
he continued and went to the door and gave a presentation!
I suggested that I take him home to change (he lived two blocks away) but he insisted on carrying on and not changing.
I understand why he didn't want to change his shirt. The shirt must match the message ..... right?
Same as all imaginary people - imaginary food.
Hilarious! LOL!

there are a lot of people who have complained of "no love" in their congregations.
i'm wondering if they gave of themselves, in reality, if they look back.
as an elder, i tried to "be there" when someone was in need but i must admit that i didn't always want to have to listen to a person's problems or a families' issues or some of the most ridiculous complaints, you could imagine.. were you really there for your brothers and sisters?
I was pretty much a "loner" ... stayed to myself. There were a few people I tried to make friends with, but never felt really accepted. Sometimes I'd even stand all the expense to invite them over for refreshments ... then one day I overheard one of the invitees labeling me as materialistic. I never held another gathering again.
