i can't wait to tell you something that happened last night.
in order to understarnd it, let me give you some details about me first: i'm still an elder, with my wife and the whole family and friends inside the borg.
This is an encouraging experience. It gives me hope that I can do the same for my wife. I think the "just saying a little bit a time" is a good thing. I am going to try doing just that as the opportunity presents itself.

Karl Loren of Vibrant Life is a avid researcher and prolific writer on issues of health. His main products are oral chelation vitamin formulas. FYI; chelation in this context, is the removal of metals within the body. There is IV (Intravenous) or oral and it is the removal of the metals that reduces free radicals within the body thus to improve ones health. Most of us older people know about chelation.

i actually saved a classified ad from an east coast paper that needed experienced crew on a 48' sailing yacht.
i was at this town for my 10th wedding anniversary and staying at a nice b&b.
this was back in april.
I don't see much point to anything either. My wife is firmly in the Borg so very hard to move forward. I just try to find some joy in life. I really wish I had some purpose or even passionate about my job or hobby or anything.
It's like a journey to nowhere.

it has been quite a while since i've provided an update but recently things have been odd.
there have been alot little things i've picked up on that leads me to believe my wife is really struggling with the concept of remaining a witness.
i provide gentle coaxing here and there.
That is great. My wife is still in I'm out. Faded away 10-12 yrs ago. I want to help her get out of this cult but she doesn't want my help. All her family is in too. I have just really left it alone, not saying anything to her about the WTS but I do think she is just tired of it all.
Maybe I'll try dropping some comments here and there.

well it has finally happened.my wife is not going back to the meetings again.as you would probably read in my previous posts, i have written a book about my experience in the watchtower organisation which is on the verge of being published.she still tried to cling to what little belief she had in the borg and did not want to read my manuscript.we discussed many of the issues and concerns i had about the watchtower but most of the times it ended in a heated argument.. i was quite surprised when she approached me about two weeks ago and asked to read my manuscript.after reading it she handed it back to me and said she fully supports me in publishing this book.her eyes have been opened to the deception and lies.i think she and a friend had a bad experience calling on one of her so-called jw friends.furthermore, she did not attend this past weekends circuit assembly..

all i have to do now is to introduce her to all you wonderful people here on jwd.. jakes.
I would like to ask how did you conduct yourself towards your wife during this changeable period? That is you out she in the borg. How long did it take her to see the light? And here's the big one, Did you routinely drop remarks about the faults of WBTS? I think you did mention some fights about you book.
I'm looking for some pointers on how to handle my similar situation. I'm out she is in and thinks the WTS cab do no wrong. I just want her to see that the WTS is not what they appear to be.

although, after experiencing many disappointments and failed dates, i cannot let go and i cannot dismiss the expectation that god will intervene somehow.
i still hold on, hoping that maybe i will not experience sheol and neither will some of my loved ones.

I look at it this way;
I do believe there is a creator, Jehovah, but it has been approximately 2000 yrs since God has intervened in mankind’s affairs. When was the last time you actually saw a miracle? But at some point he will intervene in order to fulfill his purpose. My hope, and prayer is that I can just be around to see that divine action. That would be wonderful.

first off....... when you go to bethel, you sign a document stating that if you die while you are at bethel, the society has "the right" to keep your body.........most people, just sign it and forget about it, but don't you think that is just a little strange?..........i did.
Your story is the best read I've had in a long time. I've been to Bethel NY and another Branch office, 2 family members did time there too in the late 70's. Neither did 4 yrs though. Yea "the love". It's just amazing how we all bought into the WT crap. I just hope I can help my wife out of this defective collective.

to be honest, the first chapter is awful, horribly written, and feels almost like the author feels he has to justify himself with the book.. now, that being said, the chapters on legalism and double standards, 1975, "this generation", and so forth are brilliant, powerful, and should be read by every one of jehovah's witnesses.. just my thoughts..
I just read the book and enjoyed it very much. As for the first chapter, he felt it important to explain his beginning. It all seems perfectly necessary in order to understand the perspective of the book.
