My main concern for myself and others is that we won't be able to constructively move on.

What kind of women do men want?
by semelcred ini ve just read the blog asking what sort of man a woman wants!
i am fed up in this world that men don't stand up and start letting the sisters in the world know what we really need.
lets take the game to them!!.

Lips curve to.
ATJeff stands by his original statement that men, usually not knowing what they want, really want curves, and a brain and personality. All that stuff we don't admit to.

I know I can take Angelina as my own, but I watched Legends of the Fall. Pitt has brothers. They probably would kick my ass.
Oceans 11. Same thing. Lets face it, I am screwed, and not in a good way.

Doe, the least you can do is the ultimate stick figure chick with boobs
Angelina Jolie.
She is natural, and taken. By Brad Pitt. I never had a chance.
Anywhoo, she never had a chance with me either... poor girl.

GETTING SUCKED IN? Ask the right questions to get the right answers.
by Terry init is too easy to get sucked in to the wrong argument at the wrong time.. asking the wrong question leads to the wrong answer.
a wrong answer does nobody any real good.. i once had a heated discussion with an old friend who is still an active jehovah's witness.. he came back at me with this:.
"okay, then--if jehovah's organization is a false religion, where is the true one?

Terry
Do us a favor so there is no confustion, ask specifically what question Perry dodged.
And I know what he did. I am involving myself too much already as a bystander, but it is frustrating I know to argue, esp considering the premise of your original post.
Perry, I doubt very seriously you take a word I say seriously, so I am just on the record to say that Terry makes some good points that you have evaded.
Beyond that, my popcorn is getting cold.

Time to cut through the BS. (is my work ever done?)
First off, yes, guys look at supermodel mags, with all of the attention they pay dinosaur skeletons. Fascinating, and ultimately, they want something with more meat on the bones.
Guys like curves. And speaking for myself, I hate the fake. Give me authentic.
You real women have nothing to fear. Don't read too much into guys wanting to mate with a stick figure with boobs. Most guys don't want that. And the guys that do, they still watch Beavis and Butthead as if it were for the first time. That's a helpful "avoid this d bag" marker.
It's not really that complicated... ;)

For once, I have my popcorn out on this one. I doubt I need to share where my sympathies lie on this one.....

Ministry or Coffee?
by spawn inwhen i was sad enough to be in the borg i was always puzzled be the ministry.. from the platform you were encouraged to go out as often as you could and do as many hours as possible.. but in reality before you go to the territory you decide where you are going to have coffee and then you would walk as slow as possible chatting and maybe knocking on a few doors.
if the gb decided to change the system from the number of hours worked to the number of doors knocked and mags placed would the dubs be as zealous?.
would it not be better just going to the coffee shop and leaving loads of mags on the tables?.

Don't hate on the coffee breaks. It is the one thing that keeps potential apostates sane!

What's the difference between "Watch Tower" of PA and "Watchtower" NY?
by paul from cleveland inwhat is the reason for being incorporated in two states and why is the pa corp. two words (watch tower) and the ny corp. one word (watchtower)?
thanks.
-
AllTimeJeff
The PA corp is over the US branch, and the NY corp controls worldwide affairs of the GB,
Or visa versa. It's been 3 years now. I might have got them mixed up. But that is primarily the difference between the two.

"Dubs" ??
by leec inwould someone please explain to me the etymology of the term "dub" as used in this forum?
i've searched here and elsewhere online (albeit not exhaustively) and cannot find anything enlightening.
(by the way, if it's something really obvious, i am infamous among those who know me for missing the obvious at times, so this is not a joke or anything other than a straightforward question.

"W"itness starts with a "Dubya"
"J-Dub" Voila.
