  i unerstand that in the 1975 runup, they said 6,000 years were almost ending.. however in the wayto paradise by van de amburgh ,it says 7,000 years have passed..

  Wow he was so right about the organization usurping what rightly belongs to Jesus. I don't see how he was able to say that much without being yanked from the platform. In any Kingdom Hall I've ever been in, the presiding overseer himself would have removed the speaker from the stage, or he would have gotten a physically strong "brother" to do it.

  It's always been a bit of an enigma considering how a husband's headship is supposed to be exercized over the wife. If the kids are bad, it is viewed that the elder doesn't have his household under control, and therefore isn't qualified. If they didn't get in trouble for it, I'm sure they would enforce the same policy concerning "bad" wives. But the feminists would eat them up...as they should.
