danny you have been fearless in your exposing jws for the cult they are and the harm they have done and are doing.

keep up the good work.

but please be careful in what you do as this board and recovering xjws need people like you who are fearless in exposing the wt.

to make friends since you're out of the organization?

maybe these things take time.

it's hard to establish new friendships when ones i had for years floated away in an instant.

Wow I feel exactly the same way. I have been thinking a lot lately about how lonely I am. I just don't share the same interests as my "friends" do. Therefore I don't hang out with friends. I don't think it has anything to do with my background as a Witness. I just don't like clubs, I don't like TV, I don't like going to somebody's house to just "hang out". I feel like a lonely, lost soul.

if jws really cared about making disciples they would never use outdated ways to get their "lifesaving message" across.

knocking on doors, knowing that most people aren't at home, is simply a waste of time.

driving around from one part of town to the other side in order to stretch your time, while doing return visits is simply a way to not reach people as quickly as possible.

It has been said that Rutherford emphasized door-to-door work, not because of the results that it brings, but because helped with the Witnesses' persecution complex. Going door-to-door often invites criticism, therefore giving Witnesses the opportunity to interpret that criticism as "persecution in these last days".
