No problem about posting this again. I did respond with comments at that site. I recommend all to comment there. My heart sinks when I hear of a JW dying due to this insidiuous man-made deadly doctrine. Especially, when it is a parent or child! What about the 'international' law (& Biblical law ) that a parent must stick around and raise their child. How will a child have to grow up without their mother who chose to willingly die for her religion and forsake her child! The Watchtower Society needs so much exposure on this mind control by the Governing Body of JWs.

I can understand your dilemma. However, as your child grows you will have conflicts. Your child will want the holidays and other social aspects that wouldn't be allowed with other JWs kids. Your child will be ostracised by those kids (as their parents will teach them). As your child grows and is allowed to have a free mind, your child will not be drawn to something so boring and unnatural for a child. Hopefully, in time you can find a group more progressive and realistic and fun for children. Best of wishes for you and your little one!

Jehovah's Witness shuns blood, diesOSAKA (Kyodo) A member of the Jehovah's Witnesses died last month after giving birth by Caesarean section and refusing a blood transfusion, officials at Osaka Medical College reported.
The hospital said it had agreed with the woman before the surgery that it would not administer a transfusion.
Although she bled a great deal after delivering the child, doctors only took steps to arrest the hemorrhaging. She died several days later, the hospital said."We briefed her about the danger (before the surgery) and we repeatedly urged her family to accept a blood transfusion. But in the end we respected the patient's wishes," a hospital official said Tuesday.
Jehovah's Witnesses' officials said the hospital acted appropriately in treating the woman in accordance with her wishes. Members of the denomination refuse blood transfusions as being against the Bible, citing the section in Leviticus that reads: "Whatsoever man . . . eats any manner of blood, I will cut him off from among

All my family were all the way JWs, through & through. Four of five of us kids went to Bethel through the 70's. That reality was the beginning of the end of JWdom for us. We are all out now, including our dad!
