  1933 Letter from JW's to Hitler and Nazi Party

  i was watching one of the extras on the knocking dvd and a woman commentator talked about a scandalous letter from the jw's to hitler and the nazi party in 1933. does anyone know where i can read this letter at?.

  It amazes me, that no violent acts have been perpertrated against the JW's

  when i listen to the news about the school shootings in virginia, and the previous school shootings elsewhere, it amazes me that nothing similar has ever happened in a kingdom hall.. i'm totally against violence but i know that it just takes a nut, to do something like this, and there are plenty of nuts and angry people running around.... so many lives have been broken because of the watchtower, and so many jw's and xjw's are unhappy because of this sect.. are you also amazed that there has hardly been any violent crimes agaist jw's or the watchtower?.

  what would it change in your life right now if the watchtower fell apart and didn't exist anymore?.

  maybe some would want to join another realigion right away, because they still believed a bit of what they preached and didn't want to join a false religion, just as the jw's brand all other religions..... .

  Of course, it wouldn't change our past experience. How does someone feel when justice is served. I am a grandma now but I would be so happy for most the children there to be free. They would not have to fear being formally df'd or da'd anymore. They would see their parents & others with a lot of resentments and see their personal need to most on.

  well, i'm back after a couple years away from this site.

  i still recognize a lot of names here, but there are a lot of new ones too.

  i wanted to share an expierience i had with two witness "sisters" at my door a couple weeks ago.

  Thank you for sharing this,,how can any JW have any words to say after that,,it sure needs to be told,,not to be unforgotten.

  My sister tells JWs when they come to the door,,that as a child of 7 yrs old she was lied to that our mom would be coming back "soon" in the resurrection,,that was 35+ years ago,,the JWs pretty much apologize and leave.

  The children get the worst brunt of this religion in so many serious ways.

  have you heard of that famous book the tipping point by malcolm gladwell?

  well i thought i would have a go at his more recent book called blink which is about subconscious split-second decisions.

  generally i would say it is an overrated if entertainingly written book.

  There is too much emotional pain to come to terms that one has been conned, duped. The process is bittersweet tho,,at first bitter but becomes sweeter. People as they age make their choices subconsciously along the way.

  I doubt JWs even have any sorrow about Barber's death. I don't think even Bethelites have personal sorrow. Their machination of beliefs goes on.

  on the 30 april i will be giving blood for the first time.

  this seems to be a nice period of 1st for me:.

  Wonderful Crumpet!!! I have been giving blood for years,,tonight, after work, I am going to give platelets,,it takes longer,,but 2 pints are given, and separated for white cells, and then it's awesome to see my red blood cells returned back to me and see my white cells to be given to a young girl undergoing cancer treatments. Last time, there was a shortage, as this is often needed for cancer patients as the treatment destroys their white cells so much. I was told at least 60% are qualified to give blood however only 5% do. Thus, there is often a blood supply shortage.

  There are loving people there in the organization, in spite of the organization not because of it. Witnesses are taught judgmentalism, which destroys love. Harder to love fully there, with all the restrictions there. "Unconditional love" was a strange phrase to learn on leaving JWs - it's a wonderful thing!
