I can understand people not following rules having their membership revoked, but I recall on JWD that some other ex-witness sites were added to the profanity filter.
I remember I was sending a PM to someone about a post I had read and the forum software wouldn't allow it and kept removing it. I think it's fair to say that banning a user is rather commonplace on the internet and in fact JWN is much more tollerant than other communities I am a part of, but I don't agree that people can't end up "disfellowshipped" from here as well.
Blacklisting any posts on a website because of the actions of the owner rubs me the wrong way, but as Farkel mentioned, it's not my dime running the place. I really do think that there is a level of cognitive dissonance that prevents people from seeing how closely the ex-witness community mirrors that of a congregation, but that's a topic for another day. :)
