I can tell you what they wouldn't do.
Go get a university degree!
in 2009 two people claiming to be jw missionaries were arrested in possession of "fake" us bonds worth $116 billion in italy.. "the philippine nationals claimed to be jehovahs witnesses and wanted to sell the bonds to finance their religious missions, the prosecutor said.
the individuals had contacted the bank of italy for advice on how to deposit the bonds and some were due to be sold into the u.s., dettori said.".

has anyone on here ever come across the tiniest shred of evidence supporting this date for the fall of jerusalem.
i understand rolf furuli is about to but something out on this subject (see elihubooks.com), however even a table of contents has been a long time in coming from this site.
if no evidence exists what can he possibly be writing about?
If you guys knew how long I've been putting up with OBVES, you'd pity me.
hi guys!.
as my first post i wanted to go over this topics rules considering i treat it like my house.
the moderators i will call my landlord and hopefully.
Ten bucks says he's not an active or ex-jw.
Someone that came to troll religious sites.
Wow, the epic case of trolling blue balls he must have after figuring this out.
the social networks facebook , twitter, youtube, etc.
are valuable tools in creating the energy to incite apostates of the watchtower org.
to come out and protest and expose the cover-ups, the child molesters, the shunning and breaking up of families going on in the jehovah's witness religion.. the protest saturday june 25th 2011 from 7 am until 1 pm in front of the pepsi coliseum in quebec city against the watchtower is getting lots of attention on the internet.. protesters are now able to organize and and reach millions of people who have been hurt by this destructive cult.. jean-philippe cossette founder and webmaster of www.watchowerlies.com.
Your crazy posts aside, please check this out:
Necktie Length
As a general rule for all tie knots, the widest part of your tie should hang roughly at the same height as the upper edge of your leather belt, with the tie's tip extending slightly below it. The tip of the narrow end would then hang wherever it may.
If you run into problems trying to get the length right with either the Windsor Knot or the Half Windsor Knot, try to let the wide end hang down as far as possible in step 1 of the instructions for these knots, so that when you cross the wide end over the narrow end, you can barely hold on to the narrow end. That will give you more length once you have eventually tied the knot.
If you can't afford a properly fitting suit, can you at least get a promo shot that has your tie done properly?
You're obviously proud of the picture, but you shouldn't be. Show your promo shots to your wife and let her pick one out.
dear friends,.
i would like to thank those who have helped me.
as a result, important legal precedents have been made and a lot of media coverage has been made which has exposed the watchtower society.
For me, this issue has always been muddied by the fact that the doctors are attached to the lawsuit as well as the cancer society, but the posts here are portrayed as a legal battle against the Watchtower.
I can't help but think the WT angle is played up here for financial support which makes me doubt the sincerity of the lawsuit.
can those prominent in the "apostate" world be criticized?
we expect that jws be willing to read and swallow what is written here about their leaders and i agree with this.
but...do we also allow criticism of those taking the lead among us?
There is a bit of merit to what the OP said. Not quite as severe as stated though and not unique to here.
After posting together for many years if an "established" poster is challenged by a new poster, it would be expected for their peers to pile on in defense.
If the challenging person is more established themselves then it will break down to a popularity contest. The ensuing thread usually ends up locked.
It's not an appostate or ex-witness thing, it's human nature and found on just about every message board on the internet.
my real name is "jen", and anyone who knows me, or knows of my life, will know who I am through my postings here... otherwise, I do reveal my real identity to those I feel are 'safe' and with whom (who?) I correspond with.... for anyone else... well, it's the internet, what do you expect?
I have noticed from some of your posts that you live where I grew up. Though, if you were any of the "Jen"s I knew as a witness, I would no less than completely shocked.
my mother was a hippy who kept a pile of erica jong and germaine greer books beside her bed.
(like every other avowed feminist in those days).
needless to say, she didn't feel the need to do the cleaning and we lived in an unkempt home.
While I support equal rights, many feminist movements have become a powerful lobbyist groups that now bow to the extremes rather than moderation.
My main concern is that many women (no different than men) want to have children. Feminist groups drastically downplay the risks and hardships of getting pregnant naturally past the age of 35. It doesn't jive with the "you can have a fullfilling career and have children when you chose" message.
I think it's misleading and now being in that age group myself I am seeing more and more of friends going to fertility clinics, trying for years to get pregnant and the sorrow and disappointment that it brings.
As per feminist regulations, since I completely in support of the movement, I am now a misogynist and hate women.
Gotta love black and white thinking.
I think a major factor of her popularity is the fact that many dems can't stand her.
Naturally, since democrats can't stand her, she has to be something to fear and major player since Dems are 100% wrong about everything.
i work in an elementary school as a very low paid teacher's aide.
of course, most of the staff are teachers who are paid three times my salary and have at least a college degree, many with a master's.
every day i have to face the fact that i followed the "godly wisdom" from the gb and didn't get higher education (except the degree equivalent from reading all the wts and awakes-i haven't gone to personnell to see how that would work out).. this morning, a fellow aide that i rarely see was coming in the door at the same time i was.
I'd caution you to be careful. You know how elders love a good witch hunt.
I'm sure if she tells the elders they will be excited if they can chase down and disfellowship someone who dared leave "the flock".
