Some people get saved just seconds before they die...will Christ reject them because they didn't get Baptized? IMO, nope. God is trying to find any excuse to let you into Heaven. The JWs believe that God is trying to find any excuse to destroy you.

Do you have to get baptized to be saved?
by JH in1 peter 3:21.
21that which corresponds to this is also now saving you, namely, baptism, (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the request made to god for a good conscience,) through the resurrection of jesus christ.. the witnesses say that you have to get baptized to be saved, but what will happen to jw children that aren't baptized or jw teens that didn't get baptized yet?.

I can't create another topic, but the users name on YouTube is FullBag50. He says that the term 144,000 Is Literal. We know that the 144K is only mentioned 3 times in scripture as such, in Revelation, then he drops THIS bombshell on me. The book of Revelation, as is stated from the outset at 1:1, is a book of signs (therefore, not literal). If you take most of what is written in that book literally, you have a huge mess on your hands. Similarly, 'sons of Isreal' would mean God's specially chosen people, NOT natural born Jews.

MAT. 24:14 FULLFILED - MIAMI ASSEMBLY
by pixel ini was talking this morning while i was preaching with this sister, and she asked me: do you know that the preaching work will be done soon?
i asked her: what do you mean?
she responded back: a sister (and i know her also) told me that her brother heard that the preaching is gonna be over because there are only two countries that jw can't go because it's too dangerous and yada yada yada.

JWs dont know how to use their own logic, its really sad. Do they realize, with the advent of Satellite TV and radio waves, that OTHER Christian Organizations have already penetrated those 3 countries that have been talked about?

As a JW, what was the reasoning behind convincing yourself that the NWT was superior to all other translations, especially if you didn't read it?

With all of these threads about mind control, etc. How about I post what my Church believes. I attend a large church just outside of Detroit, and he has told uf often that we should live our life and post our priorities as follows:. #1: God. Always put him 1st, no matter what. #2: Your Family. Should come immediately after God. #3: Yourself. This will become more clear in #4. #4: The Church(physical/organized structure..ie The Hall for JWs). Seriously, If you can't serve your Family...or make sure you are well taken care of 1st (ie, are not sick, phyically tired, mentally drained etc.), you are strongly suggested NOT to volunteer at the church until #2 and #3 are properly done. At my church, you still should come to Church at least Once a week, twice if you have the time to. Some people can't come to every service every week because of Job commitments, and yet my Pastor completely understands that.

It appears that the WTS seems hasn't Read Gal 6:1-3
by A-Team ingalatians 6:1-3 (amplified bible)....1brethren, if any person is overtaken in misconduct or sin of any sort, you who are spiritual [who are responsive to and controlled by the spirit] should set him right and restore and reinstate him, without any sense of superiority and with all gentleness, keeping an attentive eye on yourself, lest you should be tempted also.......2bear (endure, carry) one another's burdens and [a]troublesome moral faults, and in this way fulfill and observe perfectly the law of christ (the messiah) and complete [b]what is lacking [in your obedience to it]..........3for if any person thinks himself to be somebody [too important to condescend to shoulder another's load] when he is nobody [of superiority except in his own estimation], he deceives and deludes and cheats himself.
to me, this scripture basically tells me that disfellowshiping isn't the answer at all.

Whats the point? The WTS has already distorted the scriptural meaning..... 1 Brothers, even though a man takes some false step before he is aware of it, YOU who have spiritual qualifications try to readjust such a man in a spirit of mildness, as you each keep an eye on yourself, for fear you also may be tempted. 2 Go on carrying the burdens of one another, and thus fulfill the law of the Christ. 3 For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he is deceiving his own mind.
