  Why do you support having sex out of marriage?

  i work with a lot of people who are very sexually active.

  which should mean they are real happy, right?

  after all, isn't sex the best feeling in the world and that is why we have such a strong internal sex drive.

  thinking of leaving - why should you feel ashamed? There's no disgrace in having sex or in not having sex. It is a personal choice. If you change your mind, you might want to try it out. But no one says you have to, so stop feeling ashamed for something that is no one's business but your own. Anyone who wants to can get laid, so if you want it, it's out there. If you want to be more selective, that's OK too. If you're just not interested, you don't have anything to prove to me, at least.

  here's where I will offend many many people I imagine. If you want to try out sex, get the hang of it, not wait for a true love who may or may not arrive, ask a close friend of the appropriate gender, a trustworthy one, to show you the ropes, so to speak, with no commitment on either side.

  It sucks to be hurt on purpose ...

  i sent out wedding invitations last week.

  apparently they caused my parents to get a divorce.

  i got an e-mail from my mother saying that she left my dad, is filing for divorce, and that dad thinks she left because she wants to go to my wedding and he won't let her.

  sounds really pretty. I agree, a JW song about how submissive women ought to be is not the best choice foryour wedding. I'll looking up your myspace photos - I always think weddings are a nice thing - everyone is so happy and hopeful! I was afraid you might not answer my question - a little too nosy? But I'm glad you shared.

  I don't think sex is all it takes to be happy - unhappy people have more problems than just that. As for sex outside of marriage - the important thing is whether you've taken a vow to be faithful to one person. Keep your word, or end the marriage, but don't screw around on your mate. As for unmarried folks having sex with each other, ain't nobody's business but their own. I admit to having had a lot of fun that way when I was younger and I don't feel guilty about it. I have some good memories. While I was married I didn't cheat, and now that I'm getting divorced, I'm a lot older and not interested in the dating scene so who knows what will transpire?

  many years ago way the heck out in Utah I saw a very dark very fast moving something flying along parallel to the road - it was amazingly fast, and flew past us a few times, rather low. Black and kind of pointy shaped. A real UFO - later on I saw it again in a photo in the paper - the stealth bomber. I guess we saw a test flight.

  Fencing Borders - Anyone Else Think This Is A Stupid Idea??

  i've been listening to this from the congress for some time now, and it's back in the news today.

  the idea is to build a literal fence along the us border, hundreds of miles long and costing millions of dollars, in order to keep out illegal aliens.. damn you canadian outlaws!

  the Berlin wall was pretty successful - of course East Germany was a totalitarian state - maybe not what we want for our nation. I used to live in San Diego where they have a fence all the way out into the ocean. Used to go to the beach and watch people wade out around the end of the fence and walk up on the U.S. end of the beach. Unless they are going to patrol the entire fence all the time, it ain't going to work. And oh yeah, what about those tunnels they have discovered under the border?

  i thought these quotes may be of value.. wt 1961 15th july page 420 .

  when a person persists in a way of badness after knowing what is right, when the bad becomes so ingrained that it is an inseparable part of his make-up, then in order to hate what is bad a christian must hate the person with whom the badness is inseparably linked.

  that's chilling to read - I always said that Christians would kill non-believers if they thought they could get away with it. There it is in plain English. You even pick up the sense of regret that Jehovah is going to do the killing himself instead of letting them do it. What would happen if these quotes were released to the press? Interesting idea.

  that's an interesting statement from the disciples of luv...

  the problem is their definition of badness - in their eyes I am unrepentantly bad, because I don't believe their bull**** and have no intention of changing, so it's OK for them to actually hate me and not lift a finger to help me, even though by the standards of sane people I'm actually a pretty good person.

  this is the wacko organization that actually debated in a WT article the pros and cons of stopping to help a disfellowshipped woman change her tire - the conclusion was, if I remember correctly, that it was OK to help her IF she was on her way to the KH for a meeting. What a horrible horrible version of love.
