by CaptainSchmideo inone for mit last month, and one for princeton tonight.. if i told this to people at my old hall, i am sure the reaction would be the same as if i broke a big, noisy windblast in front of them.. but i have to brag about it to someone, so, i will do it here.. .
we will not know anything about whether he is going to be accepted for a couple of months yet, but, as they say, this $%^# just got real!.

Update from the land of Southern Africa
by LouBelle inwell 2013 is behind me and i'm pleased that it is done and dusted.
it was a hard one, filled with doubt, fear, pain and horribleness.
i was very fortunate to get out of that horrid job and get back into advertising with the fever.

You're looking for a recipe? There isn't any real need for a recipe. You need leftover corned beef, leftover cooked potatoes and some diced onion. Saute it all together in your favorite oil/butter/grease until the potatoes start to brown a bit. Serve it with a poached egg on top. Yummm.

I Am Home Today With A Lousy Back Ache

Do not combine alcohol with pain killers. Bad juju for your liver.
Google "psoas stretches" and do them gently, as well as walking around to keep your muscles warm and loose. Ice frequently all day long, but make sure you don't freeze your skin!

I agree with Jgnat. Make him pay a lot and then NEVER see him again. His wife isn't your problem. She will figure it out one of these days as you did, and she's in for some unhappiness no matter what you do.
As for you, maybe get some counseling to see why you stuck with someone that sleazy for so long. Then you'll make better choices in the future. I'm not trying to be sarcastic, I'm serious. All of us need some counseling now and then to understand ourselves better.

Born-in memories, etc this is my first post, guys ;-)
by ThunderStruck52 inso i have decided to jump in and for the first time and share some of my random memories that seem to have been floating around my mind more and more lately.
mostly if all the weird anxiety i experience from time to time is related to it.
i guess that would be a different topic to post!.

Well, we grew up in the same neck of the woods, I guess. I remember the assemblies at Dodger Stadium, Long Beach and Norco. Norco, up highway 15 somewhere north of San Diego.
Welcome!

Five Geek Social Fallacies
by Hortensia ini think this is an interesting article -- and i'm sure there are more than five social fallacies around.
http://www.plausiblydeniable.com/opinion/gsf.html.
i see these acted out quite often here in the senior apartments where i live.

Well, yes, I've been on the receiving end of some of these situations -- and the more mature me isn't hurt by it. People don't have to like me or want to hang out with me. But when I was a younger, socially inept, desperate to please, lonely person I could feel quite hurt by being left out of social stuff.
KH events could be like this, too, invite everyone so no one gets hurt feelings, and the folks no one can stand will definitely show up. There's a reason we can't stand some of them -- they're obnoxious.

I think this is an interesting article -- and I'm sure there are more than five social fallacies around. Can anyone think of any others?
http://www.plausiblydeniable.com/opinion/gsf.html
I see these acted out quite often here in the senior apartments where I live. There are a few people here no one likes, for good reason, and yet no one has the courage to not include them now and then. Leads to some interesting interactions.

When A Fellow Apostate Goes Insane, What Can We Do To Help?
by RottenRiley ini don't know how to handle the situation with a fellow apostate who has lost their mind due to this evil cult.
this guy is texting many of the elders under alias of six different cell-phones no less than twenty times a day.. .
we had to change the locks at the kingdom hall because he was still stalking and prowling around the hall after advertsing he had left the kingdom hall and we were all no less than mind-dead zombies sucking out of the life of thinking individuals.

If this person is as you describe him to be, he is dangerous. Quit pretending to be the Scarlet Pimpernel and call the police. You can't help him and his wife is in danger. Get some advice from the police.
