I make my own soap and I use it for shampoo, shaving, showering and hand washing. It has slight cinnamon smell but does not stay with me after it is rinsed. Not very metrosexual is it?

by Little Drummer Boy inon the strength that my recent post concerning cheetos went to 3 pages and was referenced in at least 3 other threads, i feel that the time has come to discuss another most important topic: shower soap.. this thread topic most definitely falls under the category of intellectual starvation topics, so you should be forewarned that terry will not approve.
heh...(just funnin' yah terry).
to the point: i here refer to a liquid soap meant to be applied to a wet shower poof and then scrubbed onto the skin.

tankless water heaters
by bigdreaux inare they all their cracked up to be?
we are completly remodeling our house, and when i build my shop, we are thinking of putting one of these in.
i just want to see what people think of them.

I don't know if you have a backup generator for power outages or not but those tankless heaters as mentioned above pull 10kw or more. Out where I live we have several power outages each winter. Our generator is 6.5 kw so it would never be able to run a tankless heater. I would love to get one but it would mean buying a very expensive bigger generator or going w/o hot water during outages. A propane powered one is another option for me that I am contemplating.

GRRRR - Swollen Knuckles.
by KW13 inrecently i told you guys about my bipolar, well today i lost it big time.. having an arguement with megans mum and in the middle of it, she says 'dont you feel ashamed not working and living off the state' and that 'bipolar wasnt an excuse really'.. then a moment later cos i shot her down on that (since she doesnt know about bipolar) she says that if its so bad i should be f****** sectioned.
at that point i said to her if she spoke another word it was likely my fist would end up in her mouth (just talk but i felt like it) and then i was pushed to far, so i hit the door.
the door is solid, i would like to confirm to everyone that this door does not have a soft center, i hit it so damn hard, i had to vent somehow - my knuckles are swollen.. the arguement ended and its dealt with, she said megan was making up claims of her stepdad abusing her now he is dead, because she wants her mum to love him less wtf?.

I have several friends that are LDS and I must say that they do not try to stuff any religion down anyones throat. When the guys come to my door I usually strike up a conversation about how I also used to have to beat on doors and how much I hated it. Then they tell me how much they hate it and will be glad when thier mission is over. LDS should make me a "do not call" because I tell them how great it is to be out of a cult like religion and be able to think on my own. We have had some great conversations but not about what they are supposed to be talking about. Almost all of them are just going through the motions until thier two years are up.

It might hurt like hell but it's cheaper then a therapist and takes much less time. I did the same thing last winter on a bathroom door. It was one of those weeks that I felt like every hole in body was being violated by someone around me. That is when my wife realized this would be a good time to stop pushing buttons.
I have never hit anyone but I am an expert at replacing doors and patching drywall.

And this is supposed to accomplish..............what? Awareness of naked people standing by a glacier? So that is supposed to make me go out and buy one of those goofy hybrids? What if I want to keep seeing naked people standing next to glaciers and don't buy a Prius?
We have glaciers in the central and north cascades that are growing. Anybody here want to get loaded on beer and go up there and have a naked growing glacier awareness party? It's alot closer for most of us then Switzerland and we have better coffee here. And you will need it because after two minutes naked by a glacier you will be shivering so bad you will have forgotten why you are there anyway.

Did you ever play 'WATCHTOWER HOOKY' ?
by AK - Jeff inlong before we 'figured it out', i think we were tiring of the whole routine and demands, though we could not admit such openly, even to each other for the most part.
but i recall occasionally 'oversleeping', and in some cases i had woke early enough but just intentionally let time go by and got up 'running late'.
our family 'tradition' was to stop for breakfast at a local restuarant on the way to the kh.

I was working 24 hr shifts as an EMT so I missed alot of meetings. Then I started to miss more but when asked would say I was working. After a while they stopped asking because my answer was always the same. It was a great way to fade. I dumped field service the most since I really, really hated it.

I don't know about the rest of you but they still come to my house 2-3 times a year. That is my opportunity to ask them the dreaded questions and as of now enlighten them about JW molesters. Why use up any energy going to them when they will most certainly come to us? Even if you have requested to be a "do not call" the elders wil still come by.
Most importantly we should be telling our non JW friends and workmates so they to can start asking questions. It is always easier to go around a brick wall then to keep on smashing into it. Just think what a pain in the butt it will be for them to have to try explain it at almost every door they knock on. A few may even go on the net in private to see what is causing people to be asking these questions.
