  are there any practicing satanists on the board?

  i've been doing some reading about satanism and i'd like some personal experiences...it seems like it is less about god/satan and more about the self above all...am i right?

  how satisfying is this way of living?

  i'm sure it can happen, but how many of you were or know of people who were disfellowshipped for using the wt society's own old literature and under what "bible principle" are they able to disfellowship???

  Does the WTS create victims???

  now, i'm not talking about victims of child molesters, i'm talking about the seemingly common thought process among jws and x-jws that causes them to beleive that any turn of events that deviates from their idea of how things should happen is caused by something outside themselves.

  is it just me, or do many jws and x-jws tend to put blame on other things/people other than where the blame should fall...themselves or at the very least, circumstances?

  blaming satan for hardships, blaming worldly people for the trouble in the world, blaming the wts for various choices that people are "forced" to make).

  Question for Former/Current Elders.....

  i recently received a phone call from an elder about an alegation that one of my ex-girlfriends brought up to the elders in her cong (the thing that she told the elders about was supposed to have happened 5 years ago when we were still together).

  he told me what she had said about me and i said "o.k.

  " in order to not confirm or deny that it was true.

  i was talking w/ an elder last week about whether or not jws have the only correct interpretation of the bible.

  me: is there only one correct interpretation of the bible?.

  elder: yes.. me: if there is only one correct interpretation, then why does each religion that is based on the bible have a slightly different interpretation that coincides with what their leaders require of the religion's members?.
