  Bulger killers release - just?

  with the news that the killers of jamie bulger have been released, it would be interesting to know how people feel.. from the mcveigh thread it seems that many americans believe the death penalty would have been appropriate.. i do not know whether many in the us know of the case in britain of a 2 year old being tortured and murdered by two 10 year olds.

  but now 8 years later they have been released.. i know of the arguments that they have been rehabilitated since killing jamie bulger.....but is this really justice?

  I agree that "lawful killing" is never the answer.

  I can't feel too much pity for Thomson and Venables parents. Those 2 were always far too unsupervised, I recall that they were actually truanting on the day of the murder.

  Too right they are sadistic, kids know right from wrong instinctively, especially in a situation like that.

  most who write here, don't belive in the jw teachings.. most are complainers and apostate.. does any one know were i can find a genuine jw site?

  I don't know how you deal with this one. It seems that people are more outraged because this little fella was killed by other children than if he had been killed by an adult.

  I hear that the released perpetrators were supposed to be going to NZ, but that they had been rejected at the last minute.

  Isn't it amazing that by just discussing this we can have our worldly goods taken away?

  by popular demand, i am yielding to pressure, to tell a story about our very own veniceit.. in march, venice and her parents were visiting us here in washington state, and we all had dinner at our daughter's home one evening.

  (my daughter posts here as princess) princess's son, 4 years old, was quite taken with venice and was showing her around the house.

  he was going up the stairs ahead of her, and turned around, face first at her rather, ummm, er, ample?

  So Is This Really Adultery Then?

  back in the 60's a childless couple could be df'd if they decided to go for a child via artificial insemnation.

  the reason given was that the wife would be committing adultery by taking another mans sperm into her body, the husband would be just as guilty because he consented to this.. can anyone tell me what the position is now, especially with regard to the newer sorts of infertility treatments?

  it strikes me that it would take a very special type of relationship for a couple to put themselves through something like this, should a religious organisation have any input whatsoever in such a personal issue, is this not something that should only be decided by just the 2 people involved?.

  ive often said that i believe that i am a good friend to have around in times of trouble.

  tell me your problem once and ill do my best to help.

  tell me it again and i start to wonder why you havent fixed it yet.. as a silver-ish surfer in my mid 50s i reckon that ive had my fair share of ups and downs, so much of the stuff that exiting jws have to cope with is very familiar to me.

  Your friends problem is only a little one! Beer is food drink, relatively weak in alcohol, so vast quantities must be consumed in order for innebriation to be accomplished.

  Ex Tory leader William Haigh said that he was a 14 pints a night man, I think that 5 is just about right.

  And remember: Beer drinkers are never constipated!
