My Mom died yesterday

my mom passed away yesterday.

she was a die-hard jw.

i tried to explain why i couldn't accept certain teachings but rather than rationally consider what i had to say she chose to believe i was just "confused".

Yes, a few times. One 'sister' was obssessed with me and my family and I think she saw me as having special 'priviledges' as an elders daughter that her own daughter didn't have, esp as she was a single parent. She used to verbally attack me and made up such awful lies about me, which she spread around. The worst part was that my parents believed her as she was an adult and I was only about 10, even though they asked me and I denied what she said. After a while, about a year or so my parents realised it was all lies when she started saying things about other people. She was a bit sick and tiwisted. Even now when I see her in the street she acts weird with me even tho to my knowledge I never even looked at her strange. With everything else I had to deal with with my health problems I really didn't need psycho sister growing up.

I actually saw her the other day and it gave me great pleasure to ignore her, even though she was staring straight at me. I just thought to myself altohugh I'm fading, I'm free of all that nonsense and I don't have to make nice and pretend to like her anymore. It was so liberating.

venus winked at mars as she held another of her native sons and said..."told ya so...you ain't seen nothin' yet".

okay, don't know why i can't just say it's daystar's birthday on sunday but i'm just weird that way.

What things did you do through a mtg to distract yourself?

when we were kids, my best friend and i would do each others hair.

wed have our barretts and elastics and the whole bit.

then when we got a little older we used to do our nails nail polish and all .

I used to draw pictures on my songbook and bible. When I was really bored, wich was a lot, I used to count how many times certain words were used like Jehovah, God, Jesus etc were used. I know, I was such a loser. But that's about all I could get away with. When I got older I used to talk to my friends and make faces at them and stuff like that. And of course regular visits to the bathroom was always a good one.The dubs must've thought I had a really weak bladder.

I have a talk!

about 7 months ago i asked the school overseer to take me off the school, as i was 'busy with work exams' things have been good since then (well, sort of...) no talks for 7 months!

but then, my wonderful father, decides to ask the school overseer to put me back on!

he puts me back on!

The cheek of your dad and the school overseer. Surely it it's up to you wjen you go back on the school, if ever. And shouldn't it come from you, not your dad, if you want to go back on. That happened to me once, I took myself off the school and about a year later the school overseer put me back on. I managed to get out of the talk though and he learnt his lessen.
