"As in the 1st century though, the Governing Body does not consult with each individual member of the slave class before making decisions" para 19.
So if the GB are making decisions without consulting the rest of the slave class, how is the slave "giving them their food at the proper time"?
The GB are making the rest of the slave redundant.
In fact what's the real difference in every day terms between an anointed and non-anointed member? NONE! All the power and authority is still held by the 9 men in Brooklyn. So in fact, if every single JW decided they were going to partake of the emblems, this wouldn't make one bit of difference to the authority of the GB. They'll still maintain absolute, unaccountable power and control over everyone.
Yes, thats it! This article isn't just about keeping the new anointed in check, its about the GB making sure they are accountable to no-one for the decisions they make. They don't want to be given advice by uppity new anointed ones, they just want to continue to spout their rhetoric without their authority for doing so being questioned by anyone.
Thats an AWESOME power they have! 7 million people hanging on to every word of 9 old men in Brooklyn as if it comes from God himself, ready to obey without thought or question, whilst they remain answerable and accountable to no-one (or so they think)
That is really scary! Everything about this article screams CULT
