I agree leaving, they have shown themselves to be the evil slave.

However, I think they have shown it for a while. Between their views on "apostates", and "questioning the fds". I would consider their actions beating their fellow slaves. And I don't know when it happened, but the slide of Elders and MS turning from serving the congregation to being their overlords.

As listed in my "life and times of Metaspy" I was put in the distrust mood by the actions of the elders.

However, I was convinced by FACTS that the JWs were wrong. (587/607, Child molestations, Jehovah being inserted into the NWT).

our friend, oompa, has passed away.

just recieved the news a couple of hours ago, and have almost no details.

it happened today or yesterday, he took his own life.

Oompa called me when I was having troubles about fading.

He spent probably 3 to 4 hours consoling me and helping me through it.

There is no words to convey the loss of Oompa. He was an amazing man.

It is getting rediculous.

The end result of giving into the refs for the NFL is being out very little money - giving refs benefits, and making them year round employees.

The end result of not doing so is having calls so bad I don't want to watch football.

my elder buddy and i would frequent strip clubs when we wanted to.. a few friends knew i enjoyed clubbing and music concerts and i seldom ever spoke of my private social life to others.. i know many jws, including elders, that drank excessively but that wasn't considered too big a deal..
