I don't know if you need or not a therapie
but from your ex wife's very nice answer you have an idea of what was wrong1) I was lonely, and heartbroken when I needed you, you weren't there
2) I honestly think I was never meant to be marriedwhich is incoherent somehow ... So what does that mean ?
she wants (or knows she have) to take a part of the blame on her or anyway this wasn't meant to last for ever anyway.Don't look for a woman ... look for complicity (friend first - men women whatever, like every human being you first need to share and being understood) ... and it seems that your ex wife is one of those (being an ex) it's not a loss ... you've gain something (more valuable than it could be in your first kind of relationship) here with her.
More you are looking for something, and more you take the risk to see what you want in those you want ... just get in touch with people and when possible when not superficial relation you have something valuable there ... the woman you will love and being loved from in return will be find into this kind of relationships.
Also be confident in yourself ... it helps
I wish you the best luck JG !!!

Spirituality without Faith- Is It Possible?
by nvrgnbk inspirituality without faith.
what would it mean to naturalize spirituality?
how can naturalism inspire spiritual experience and provide us with a satisfying cognitive context within which to address our ultimate concerns?

Mum :
My take is that spirituality is possible without traditional faith. To me, spirituality means transcending the demands of the amoral nature we are born with (ahemmm!) and reaching for our higher self and meaningful (to me as an individual) expression thereof. To me, creating beauty artistically, opening ourselves and others (if possible) to a wider range of experience, and contributing positively to the lives of others are all expressions of spirituality which do not require anything outside oneself.Regards,
SandraC
Perfect definition Mum : To me It have nothing to do with faith but the kind of faith the bible is talking about (for instance) needs such spirituality.

What is it all about ?
by RAF in.
i've' always thought that americans where more romantic somehow than frenchs (they talk easier about feelings - true or false - it's not the point), and i'm always amazed when i read adds where most are quiet practical / materialistic in there definition of needs and responses regarding something related to love ... it's weird, it's like they don't believe in love anymore .... what is it all about ?.
and if you feel like you have an idea about what kind of add would please a woman - give it a try.

Ok ... thanks for your answers
The thing is that actually I've been 3 weeks (it just bothers me at the end) on a dating service "Meetic" (most french but international) something like a year ago to have some fun talking and eventually meeting what could become new friends from everywhere (since mines are all married/with somebody or away), and actually I've realised that those (any age) who had interesting ads were players (their right - but not really interesting), also the young once were kind of romantic but with a lot of reserve (LOL ... To resume their ads were saying something like that : I'm looking for someone but do not expect me to marry you just because we get in touch - that's smart since they don't want to be bothered if they are not in love - but will they take advantage on the girl expecting some love anyway? - but two young someone - I really need to have conversations with people of my age - since I have acces to young once).
Most over 35 seems to loose confidence or put all their confidence into their means - and they were talking practical/material to attract girls - and that's repulsive somehow (what if he loses the money - where will be the man ?) ok the feeling is subjective cause thinking about it somehow I thought that most of those guys might be really interesting for girls who really wants to getmarried - who knows what they will discover as lovable in the man (but that was not for me)
But their ads were in facttalking about their mysery, those men weren't really trying to sell their real strenght, tenderness, funny or smart side ... whatever can be attractive about the man himself.
So I'm not sure it's an american specific trouble, They were from different countries (French or english talking) - I was the one checking - since I didn't want to put a pic).
just for the story :
I've met those who were funny (all finally wanted more - I mean sex at least - so it didn't work) : and here is the funiest thing which happen
Xavier (LOL) after taling friendly and a drink he told me straight ... I just want someone for sexe nothing more i'm tired with girls which get stucked ... so I've said : Well why don't you try prostitutes ? Too expensive ? We had a laugh but really the guy just disguste me !!! -

For the ladies:
by AllAlongTheWatchtower inis it ok to lie, or lie by omission of information, to your wife, if the motive is saving them stress or grief?.
i feel that my wife and i have a very good relationship, very open, we usually tell each other everything.
as i revealed in someone else's topic recently though, i am a pizza delivery driver...and last night i escaped an attempted robbery.

Is it ok to lie, or lie by omission of information, to your wife, if the motive is saving them stress or grief?
it's cute in fact (if any day later she knows about it and don't see why she would be mad at you if she is, you can still say that since nothing really bad happened there was no reason to talk about it knowing it would stress her and that this story only called you to pay more attention ... (whatever is true and beneficial about it).
Also I don't any see real interest of the truth for not lying when it does not help somedody to make the right decision for him/herself (that's when I guess the other one really deserves the truth, instead of a lie). -

Why doesnt HE just say Hi? If you were GOD would u :
by fedorE in1- keep the world the way it is, never revealing yourself.
or 2-immediately reveal yourself to mankind.. none of us has a direct line to him and im not even sure im convinced he exists like i was taught from childhood.
but damit i cannot understand for the life of me, why if he exists, he doesnt show himself in some way.... we know no one has absolute truth.our exp has shown us that just when we think we have the truth we were dead wrong.

Yes this did cross my mind and I've even said it more than once (regarding what can be seen as a cruel life)
I don't anymore ... if my son wouldn't care recognising me and understand/really care about what I as a parent (in this case : everything = God - and in fact experience so then wisdom if we do take into consideration experience) have to tell him ... I'm not sure that there is anything more to say or to show. Also since it's all about how good or bad spirited we are as kids (this does not depends on our capacity to obbey to laws or doing good to people since it depends on the why) showing up wouldn't change anything about their spirit ... And what when as a parent I turn my back to have a nape (LOL)? scared to be themself (so not themself) or get the frustrution out if tehy do not agree with me in being vicious while I'm sleeping?
So, it is that we want to be raped spiritually having our free will taken from us or lobotomised to just be some kind of sheep to respect God ? I just don't want that neither for me or others ...
We want to know (in fact see) more than we are supposed to and do not aknowlegde what we can in being alive (if we have to see later will see later then.
So my take is : Don't worry - Life is short ... "experience" talks anyway (we hear it or not) and of course "experience" knows better -

About the discernement :
2 Peter 3:15-16
AST
15. And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote unto you; 16. as also in all [his] epistles, speaking in them of these things; wherein are some things hard to be understood, which the ignorant and unstedfast wrest, as [they do] also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.NWT
15 Furthermore, consider the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul according to the wisdom given him also wrote YOU, 16 speaking about these things as he does also in all [his] letters. In them, however, are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unsteady are twisting, as [they do] also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.note hat untaugh does not mean exactly the same as ignorant (= about wisdom = Christ which haven't recognise what is related to him)
We know the WT wants to teach us everything through lots, lots, lots of studies and they make it obvious in there translation.
In french version : hard to understand is translate as obscure (= without the enlightement) and unstedfast wrest or unsteady is translated as without firmness = hypocrites (in one or all ways possible regarding to the matter).
