  i was just going through my cds and unapcking them and noticed that i have way more film scores than anything else.. particular favourites have to be:.

  1) the mission - ennio morricone - beautiful and moving.

  2) hannibal - hans zimmer - haunting and with a stunning opera piece which i love.

  Is Atheism/Evolutionism Dangerous? Questions for Unbelievers

  does the belief that there is no all-loving diety in which to be accountable to make it easier or harder to treat and judge others they way that you want to be treated and judged?.

  since evolution supposes that life and ultimately man who is at the top of the chain got here through a process of the fittest dominating and killing off the weaker, and since most modern evolutionists in democracies no longer think that this is good to practice, how do you deal with the fact that you are a living contradiction of your own belief since you pronounce the same thing both good and bad?

  my 2 cents?

  Believing in evolution is dangerous because it leads to believe that some people are more evoluate than others.
  
  Believing in God is believing that all of us are alike to some extant (we do evoluate physically to accomodate with our environement) and we are differents spirits (unic) it's interesting, it talks about diversity (but then, we have to deal with it too anyway and it can also be dangerous, because then it's all about who is better (physically, spiritually bla bla bla) so it's all about how is it possible to understand the other one? Do we really want to?. But the bible (the GOSPEL) for instance is not talking about who is better its about : take care (as much as you can).

  Now about evolution if one cell could lead to built the universe, the process would be exponential (more over if you take the example of the virus which is able to evolve a lot and very fast to stay alive - that being said it also have a problem which lead to be so effective that it forgets about the fact that if he takes too much advantage on his host it kills his host and by that kill himself - so any might take this detail as an argument to say that it is the reason why it is not exponential - but we human are able to make new species of plantes that the evolution process didn't think about it yet in billions of years) SO ...

  Who knows us best? Spouses? Adult children? Friends?

  i'm wondering about this lately.

  i've always assumed that spouses know us better than anyone else.

  but when i really think about that statement, what i personally mean is wives know their husbands better than anyone else knows them; but not necessarily the reverse.. i've also felt that our adult children know us pretty well, especially same-gender children.

  It's actually a biblical argument (easier to get the point than from the historical way - but the historical view stands too anyway).

  THE IMPORTANCE OF HOLDING HANDS!

  i started a thread a long hug http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/128891/1.ashx which touches on the below, but feel this subject deserves a thread of its own.. a study, highlighted on bbc breakfast news yesterday, acknowledged the importance of holding hands in a relationship, courting or married.

  it was stated that couples who hold hands in the street are more likely to have a solid relationship - and especially those who interlink their fingers when holding hands as this indicates a desire to be as close to each other as possible.

  arm linking is ok, too, but couples who just walk about not holding hands - and this includes married couples - indicates the relationship could be in trouble.. do you hold hands with your spouse/partner?

  I'm a cat ... I love every kind of hugs (even more than sex) but it's like their is a time for it ... I can be loving like nobody else but I can be distracted by anything else. So it's not because I do not hold hands or wathever alike that something is wrong ... but still, if something is very wrong I might not be in the mood to hold hands or any kind of hugs, also even if something is wrong I can be in the mood to play the lets forget about it NOW because I want hugs () ... for the same reason I would get into it because I feel that HE needs a hug NOW even if something is wrong ... just because it feels good (but not all the time ... just because I like to be hands free for instance - its warm and stuff so sometimes its like I can't take it anymore - it have nothing to do with my mood - its just a physical need).

  When Christians experience the "power of the Christ" ...

  is this a feeling unique to christians?.

  because i felt tremendously at peace when i came to terms with the facts about (what i feel is) the lack of authenticity of the bible and it's status as an inspired book - almost as if the universe was telling me, "just let go.

  I mean : that's the power of Christ (whatever religion you feel to be in) as it is not a question of religion but a question of spirit !!!

  wow ... Ithinkisee ...

  you are actually christian from your heart ... (it's all about inner peace - nothing to fear even if everything can happen) ... you can feel wathever (emptiness, losing controle on anything... we're not going to change the world but we are good actors and good interpretors from just listinening to it) but nothing is more important than just meditating on things to finally accepte to be a part of the whole thing and experiencing our own path and life with compassion for others and ourself.

  Losing the faith-but using the bible?

  i find myself still arguing for the bible pov vs. the wt pov at times when i really don't believe the bible is inspired of god.

  a whole new layer of potential evil on my part, i guess.

  however i just think that academically, if they are claiming their stance as being from the bible, that it is fair to show them where it is not biblical.

  To me that means that you haven't lose your faith (you've lost faith in religions which is a part of the real faith actually it's even a part of the propheties) faith is about believing in what is really good for everybody and that's what Christ was talking about.

  The Jews believed in God (the majority didn't have faith they rather like the "React immediatly kind of God" because they didn't feel to grew up and felt more secure in having to follow laws so that they believe it was the only way to know NOW if they were ok or not (but who would put a kid in jail? we are kids in every aspect we did not get the point on by ours or others experiences). The Jews just forgot that Laws for salvation could lead to forget about what is most important - means : forget about the other ones.

  Angels knew god exist but they didn't like what was really good. They didn't want to be inspired by God's Wisdom (Christ) they rather liked to be egocentric and using their ability to please themselfve only.

  Believing in God is not the kind of faith that the bible is really asking for.

  God in being the essence of everything, just believing in it would be believing in everything ... the Father is the spirit of God (in everything) the Son is the wisdom/talent of the Father's spirit ... As we have free will we can choose to follow or not what it is telling us wich is (act in charitable ways for others means that it includes forgiveness and forget about your ego when needed) that's it, if you believe that is the right path you have faith in the God in God (Christ). Being Christian is not a question of religion it's a question of which kind of phylosophy toward others you suscribe to.

  it's the same difference in between the water baptisme (just a personnal vow based on beliefs) and the baptisme from holly spirit (based on what is real faith).

  Eddited to add ; (based on what is real faith). Means that you suscribe to Christ wisdom/spirit = GOD in GOD

  Wish Me Well: Surgery Tomorrow

  well, i did my best with physical therapy but it's not enough.

  my knee is very unstabile (especially since i fell again 6 weeks ago).

  tomorrow i'm scheduled for knee surgery to repair my acl..
