Don't blame yourself. Once I get under your skin there is no getting over me.
So ladies watch yourselves.

Don't blame yourself. Once I get under your skin there is no getting over me.

can't see with these darn things too blury went back to the old fashioned kind and can see great.. thanks all for the input.
i even got $18.00 back from lens crafters for the change in lenses.
I see people walking around with new bifocals and they look like they've shit themselves as they walk And I know that will be me soon!!
the reason that i ask this question is for two reasons mainly.. firstly, my experience as a jw and within the various congregations i was part of, was that they were a very mixed bag.
there were those who were very devout, studious and appeared to be very humble and placid in nature.
there were those that were very judgemental of others.
Like Mouthy, I USED to be critical & judgemental -- you know - you imitate the God you worship - aka - WT
Now I'm not
And I have facial hair
29 minutes and 00 seconds in a 5k (3.1 mile) race this morning.
that is a 9 minute 40 second mile pace.. 9th place for my age group.. .
there's just ooooone tiny problem...... after the race we all found out that the cops changed the race path without telling anyone and so instead of 3.1 miles we only ran 2.8 miles.. i was sooo excited about how great i had ran.
Back in HS we used to run 2.95 mile courses for cross country. My best time was in the States - 16:02 (or was is 16:09?) ---- Now I can only pretend I'm running while on the eliptical!
Keep it up Else!
i have tried google and my own personal files...and i just can't find the printed thought that said "a jw must agree with all the teachings of the wts"....or words to that effect..... i am developing some thoughts to "share" over on the "knocking" forum.
(i asked in one post---if "knocking" referred to jws at the doors, or what they do to all other religions...... i'd appreciate any help with this....even with other excerpts that relate to this thought---would be great!.
hugs,.
BrightSpot,
Do a search for the Walsh Trials - which took place in Scotland
For my money having their lawyer come right out and say, under oath, to direct questioning that JW's MUST agree to believe the doctrine of the WT - even when wrong - no choice - becauase Unity is more important than Truth is absolute the absolute GOLD STANDARD of admission of being a CULT.
my mom passed away yesterday.
she was a die-hard jw.
i tried to explain why i couldn't accept certain teachings but rather than rationally consider what i had to say she chose to believe i was just "confused".
S, I'm sorry and I'm glad you could see some positive in her faith. But death is usually sad and I'm sorry for your whole family.
was offered a new job yesterday.
they are a small, family owned business, with great benefits!!

fyi:.
dell is again offering windows xp as a choice over vista on their systems, due to a plea from over 10,000 customers on dell's "idea storm" website.. .
As someone who supports hundreds of computers I will give my experience - not my bias.
XP has been the best OS I've seen / better than W2k etc - really a home run from the user standpoint
Linux is GREAT as a server
MS Server 2003 / AD is a permissions nightmare
Vista has been ~ok~ drivers are an issue and on proper hardware seems to run well, esp networking. BUT what it offers over XP is not enough for the price in my mind.
We are offering laptops to our students with Vista as the default, but with XP as the alt.
so, who'd like to sit out on the deck with me this weekend - it's going to be a glorious weekend here in southern ontario, and share some healthy strawberry daiquiri's with me?.
bb.
fruity cocktails may be healthy .
Well that sounds like fun. But could I have more than one? And can I still be on my laptop on the porch so I can text people?
