Anybody have a three year old??? HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!

i have a 3 year old girl, and she is wild... she has recently started completley disobeying, talking back, slamming doors, spitting at me etc.

it is getting miserable to go anywhere because she throws fits, runs around resturants screaming.

at dance class, her teacher had to send her off the floor because she was the only kid running around and woud not listen.

he's 7 weeks old, he's a chocolate lab and i named him tony.

his eye isn't messed up it just looks that way because i was trying to get his face to look forward while i pushed the button all at once.

he kept me up all night last night crying, but hopefully just like with my beagle he will outgrow that.

Something that bugs me

it bothers me when people who dont even believe in the bible try to use scriptures against me.

for example this woman at work, hates all christianity (except jw's), is agnostic, doesnt believe in the bible.

whenever i mention something about the jw's she says "remember, judge not, lest you be judged" that just irks the living daylights out of me.

The one thing I can't tolerate is an ignorant attitude, which it sounds like she has. Too bad she's pretty and her appearance doesn't reflect her attitude.

There's - "Loser!" <--- That one always makes me laugh

There's - "Jerk " <--- I know they are just joshing me

There's - "retard / asstard" <----- I think they are sweet pet names really

There's - "Get out of the house asshole" <--- my wife is such a kidder

There's - "I hate you with all my heart" <--- It's just the pms talking, I think

There's - "Go ahead jump you chicken" <---- Passersby say this to me when I walking near the bridge

There's - "I hope you really aren't my real father" <---- both kids but they get one from their mom's sense of humor

and finally

There's - "Just give me what's on your plate and hurry up, chicken legs" <---- my dog and best friend

i was raised in "the truth", and for the longest time it was all i knew.

i spent my childhood going through all the things that other witness children went through; not celebrating holidays, not standing up and reciting the pledge of allegiance, not going to school events, or associating with "worldly" children much.

and if Gumbo needed to be reinstated to have his family more power to Him, but the religion can rot as far as I'm concerned. Damn good people trapped in it. I think MOST in JWism are good folk actually, but trapped in that cult mindset like we were.

If we could turn the clock back

if you could rewind the clock, i became a witness when my mother and farther were still alive.. like many on this board while i was reasonably down to earth, looking back i was still overboard, this was because of the doctrine of the wts that i had accepted.. i look back with regret that perhaps i could have been a better son to my parents.. one instance when my farther was in hospital, the surgeon told my mother that dad had a growth on his heart.. my mother was extremely upset, not over just the news, but was worried stiff that if my farther asked me, my mum knew i would tell the truth.

(there are other ways of answering).

many will say get a life, and we should not reflect on what has gone on in the past.

I think in this case it's enough that you want and wish you could change the past. That is the true nature of an apology - not just saying you are sorry, but that you wish you could take it all back.

I'm sure that if your parents could hear you say that they would cheerfully forgive you in a nanosecond. And maybe they can hear you?
