I do not think so.
It will not take such a long time. I think in about 10 - 15 years scientists will find the key for genetic telemerase-manipulation.
The main problem currently is neither limits of scientific skills nor too less money for research. It´s a question of patents and intellectual property rights.
Anyway. I tell you: this will be the greatest days in the human history. Religions are going to vanish.
e.g. : Craig Venter meanwhile filed more than 2000 patent applications in genetic-engineering matters to the US-pat-office.
This means that almost 75% of all researching opportunities in that particular scientific sphere are BLOCKED (!!)

WTS is using Jehovahs name since 1935.
This has nothing to do with the nature of the Almighty God himself.
He is always sovereign. He is the creator of the universe.
WTS can fail, people can fail. YHVH/JHWH is more than a hand-made (or even trademarked) God.
HIS name means: "I shall be proved". And HE will act.
what happens to bethel workers when they get old?
it seems to me that if one were a bethel worker for most of his or her life, he or she would have very little if any savings to draw on in their old age.
also unless im mistaken, a bethel worker does not pay into social security and we all know the borg does not, so i dont think they can collect social security, can they?
Very important question, I think:
If the WTS run out of money the old bethelists would come into tremendous troubles.
They would have to go to "worldly" life aid institutes for supports and helps.
For that reason, it would be very very important to avoid hypocrisy and to remain in the real "truth". Otherwise Jehovah would CERTAINLY withdraw his protection from WTS and bethel.

i just did some research on the amish and found out an interesting fact.shunning created the amish.a group of people broke away from the mennonites in germany because the mennonites would not suport the shunning doctrine.these people became the amish.as a side note, do you guys remember the 60 minutes that delt with shunning.they had amish and jw teenagers that were shunned by their parents because the wanted out of their religion.

Think at the end of WWI or WWII, or when the Cuba-crisis (nuclear-bombs!) was, or at the time when the former Soviet-Union collapsed (1990).
He did not. When you are very sensitive and listen carefully, then you can see, that God is rather calming the situation, than to heat and escalate it.

Because my opinion is that the "Great Trib" and "Armageddon" will show a complete different face than actually expected by the former JW`s. The bible does not fail, but the insight does.
