  Okay... How many of you ski or snowboard?

  i grew up on alpine ski's, took up snowboarding for a while, until it got incredibly boring, and now i've been into tele-skiing for about five years now.

  i just love it!

  before my accident, i could jump-telemark nearly any slope.

  Regarding Venus: It`s the typical "Michael-Jackson-Syndrome" in the beginning status. I often could watch this phenomenon, when JW`s became rich, or well-known in medias, or managers, or doctors or champions in sports and so on...

  one thing jehovah's witnesses do is they try to make their adherents feel afraid.

  fear is a major reason to go to meetings, out in service, personal study, etc.

  jws are always talking about the great tribulation and armageddon.

  I can feel the pain in your heart. Please believe me. In my congregation 3 JW`s ended in suicide within last 15 years. I know what`s wrong.
  
  But this is the one side of the medal. I cannot imagine how the JWD-board would do all things much more better. When a member of this board get kicked in the ass because he only is writing his own opinion in a manner usual in democratic systems (without embarrassing or offending someone) - HOW can they say they are better than the WTS-org? They make the same mistakes. Isn`t it so, puternut?
  
  Do you remember the particular points in brigadoons postings? Could you write it down? I have no idea at all. When investigating said topic: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/65432/1.ashx one only can read "removed", "removed", removed".... x-times..
  
  Maybe its only a misunderstanding. Please help us to clarify the case.

  The Watchtower Attendance Crisis

  if the average congregation has about 83 publishers in the us, then the organization may be sinking into a crisis.. take that 83 and consider that half the congregations may have less.. take away '15 minute publishers' who don't attend.

  take away completely fake publishers who rarely attend.

  take away increasingly tired publishers who 'feel sick', are depressed, or just want to stay at home and watch tv.. .

  Unless some world disaster happens - to get Witnesses panicking back to the Kingdom Hall - the Society will be faced with shutting down lots of congregations - that can't function anymore.

  Imagine the facts: someone in this board had demanded to delete and push out ALL post one ever wrote ("brigadoon"). The good and the bad. The WTS-friendly and the WTS-critisizing post. All together into the same filth pail.
  
  I do not understand this policy. Sorry, really not.

  I did an investigation in the last minutes regarding this matter. I wrote an e-mail to a german friend, who told me more. He told me that a german JW named Frank (62yr) writing under the nick "brigadoon" had obviously offended puternut last Friday. Within few minutes all his postings he ever wrote in this forum became deleted and removed. But my friend said that "brigadoon" got pushed out from the board although he had apologized himself for a mistunderstood joke. Allegedly he had never a bit of an intention to offense puternut, he allegedly said that it was so difficult for him to make his speech understandable because he is nt native english speaker and he had to translate all sentences word by word. Now, all his efforts he ever made in this board were in vain, because all get deleted and he has no access anymore. He is very angry, my friend said. Allegedly, the thing happened after a member named xjw_b12 demanded the deletion emphasically, and Simon obviously followed at once..
  
  One day later same happened to some other members in this board, my friend said.
  
  Folks, I have no idea. I dont know if this accusations are true. I also have no idea what Frank wrote. If somebody here in this board can give me an answer btw can tell me what really happened Friday, he may post this.

  A weird world, where blood-transfusion get refused, but transfusion of kidneys get NOT refused. I cannot understand this policy. Blood is an organ consisting of cells and proteins, same as a kidney or a liver. Presently is no absolute virus-elimination possible. One can receive HIV or hepatitis C in both cases. Think the WTS should consider this fact intensively.
