I asked the person I studied with about persecution and he showed me that scripture. He said that god would put words in our mouth if we were afraid and unsure. Now we see elders who make excuses, destroy evidence, and essentially get tongue tied over straightforward questions. Why are the GB employers silent when the company men are under fire for doing what the GB told them? Even in a worldly setting a good company firm would have their men prepped for trial, and the best of defence given their employees were good men. This enquiry has opened my eyes even more. Why have the GB sat quietly in Brooklyn? Why don't they use the JW.org to broadcast their side of the story, 7 million witnesses would listen in.

Why are none of the 'Governing Body' being summoned to any of the abuse commissions?
by GodZoo ini'm not sure if this has been covered but i'm wondering why none of the gb are being requested at or formally summoned to any of the australian abuse commissions or other investigations that are taking place around the world?
they after all are the ones single handedly responsible for making and enforcing all the rules that are the sole cause of all these abuses and problems.. why are they just keeping their silent distance and leaving all the ill-equipped and sadly incompetent local elders exposed to take the full public blast, criticism and humiliation for all that is now being brought out in these investigations?
how are they seemingly able to sit cosy in their ivory tower immune and unaccountable?.

Yet the elder being questioned said it was somewhere in the elders book that that in these types of cases they could have another person there for support? I read the elders book did not see this info, am i wrong??? If I am not wrong the shit will hit the fan. -

a rape victim was asked to demonstrate - to demonstrate, ffs - to three unqualified (middle-aged at least, presumably) men just how far her legs were apart when she was raped.. i have rarely heard anything so outrageous, and i used to investigate rape and abuse in my profession.

God forgive me I served on judicial committees, and ,while I never asked intimate questions, I got a sense right from the outset if the person was sorry , or if they were trying to get off lightly. Sadly I served with some elders who sickened me by their questions. Did he touch your vagina on the outside or inside your panties, which finger did he penetrate you with. Did you perform oral sex, were you watching porn, I finally refused to serve on JC citing mental health issues, too many elders seemed to enjoy the questioning too much. -

Daughter of Elder Reinstated Within Months!

whereas another sister in the same congregation has been disfellowshipped now for nearly two years!.

I have been before a JC for drunkenness. I was treated so poorly, even though no one knew of my sin, I told the elders the whole truth. All I can say is next time if ever that happens I will disassociate, the hypocrites say D F is a loving provision, I say its a god dishonouring process. I felt during the whole process that my life was in the balance. A sad day for Brotherly love.
