i'd like for you to share songs that sound atmospheric and conjure up feelings of night air or a smokey room, the energy of the ocean's roar or capture the joy of a party or celebration.
the songs can be transportive and take you other places by their sound and the visuals they evoke from the stories they tell.. my first one is from tim mcgraw.

where i work i was lucky enough to meet a wonderful guy who has been sort of my friend for quite some time.
when i say sort of, it is because since january we are not able to have any communication out of work.

Why do JWs think God would kill these people?
by MrMonroe inthis article from the guardian is one of the most harrowing pieces of journalism i have read in a long, long time.
north koreans raised like rats in a cage, forced to work seven days a week, scavenge for food in cow manure, inform on family members to gain a tiny increase in their rations, tortured, starved, degraded .... which raises two big questions.. 1. why do jehovah's witnesses believe that these people would die at armageddon because they have not joined them in "god's organization"?
how can jehovah's witnesses think god would be so legalistic, so small-minded, that he would deprive those people of life in a peaceful paradise ... just because no brother in a shirt and tie has ever knocked on the door of their barracks and offered them a chance for a bible study?

by Low-Key Lysmith inwhile many of us yankees will be eating irish stew & corned beef & cabbage and getting pasted on green beer, irish whiskey, and/or guinness, take a moment to ponder what we're really celebrating.
st patricks day in the us has become more a secular holiday than a religious one, mainly an excuse to overindulge in booze and embrace irish heritage (whether you have any or not), and basically get your party on and wear silly green costumes, which is all fine & dandy.. let's take a brief look at what's really being celebrated, however.. st patrick wasn't even irish.
he was a briton slave kidnapped and taken to rome where he was raised and schooled in catholicism, eventually becoming a bishop.

I genuinely love them

we had kh cleaning last weekend for the memorial and it felt just like old time and brought back soo many memories...i share my struggles, my joys ...everything with my bros and sis... they are my friends...i really truly do love them...how can i leave?
that feeling just made me feel like abandoning all this reasarch and go on living blindly .

by oppostate inat the latest ca in natick ma, district overseer brown w. payne made a comment about a "famous female tennis player who's a sister"... .
we're told she says she's a jehovah's witness and swears in the tennis court.
we all have heard about it.
