  hey everyone!

  i'm so happy that i finnally joined i just turned 17 and i have so many questions about the org.. i've been lurking around the site for months, and love reading experiences about bethel, and all the hypocricy that the wtbts spews out.. so i finally joined in and hope to make some great friends.. a little about me:.

  im male, 17, and i am a born-in, so this is all i know... i was baptised at age 13 i beleive.... my gramma, and grampa and mom , and sisters and brothers, are all jw's.

  yes,that is a strange question.

  but,i always felt like the odd one out.

  and as a witness,i felt like i had some secret from all the "worldlies" about the big secrets of the universe.

  I think it's human nature to feel set apart from others. That feeling may be exaggerated if you're a born in. But whether or not you were raised in a cult, I think everyone as their own version of normal. I commented to my stepson once how weird someone was. He responded by saying everyone is weird in their own way, and I think he was right.

  Went to a rock concert where we used to go to the D.C.s.

  we are not far from the facilities that they use for the d.c.s, but this was the first time we went there since a d.c. my wife asked me if it made me feel weird to be going to a rock concert here.

  it didn't bother me a bit, but i did notice something i thought was interesting.

  when we used to go to the d.c.s there was so much hype about how much "better" we were than the other users of the facility.

  I watched this movie when it debuted on Lifetime, and it devastated me. Just wathing the trailer gets me all choked up. I can't imagine how Bobby's parents survived the tragedy that befell their son.

  What is up with the influx of electronic readers at the Kingdom Hall

  crazy!.

  the local publishers seem to be jumping on the e-reader bandwagon.. sisters even in their 70's are showing up at the hall with ipads loaded with publications for the meetings for crying out loud!.

  a couple of these elderly sisters are having me get theirs ready ... should i add coc and captives of a concept ... perhaps studies vol vii ... to the library for them.

  the whole reason i even got dragged into this jw stuff, and we didn't just become somebody's return visit they never came back on, is because my mom claimed that the demons were talking to her.

  they told her that the jws knew the truth about them, so she called the local kingdom hall.

  bible study was started, and that was that.
