I titled this topic incorrectly, and I'm sorry. I blame it on the facts that I read and posted this article before I had my morning coffee, and because I was so excited to see my sentiments and those of many others on this board, echoed by someone outside of the organization. Upon my first reading and posting of this article, I thought the case had been won. Here's hoping that that is the case in the near future. Then maybe the western world can go after the WTB&TS wholesale on their disgusting pedophilia problem.

By her choice, my stepdaughter didn't get her license until she was 18. One of the first few times she took her car out alone, a police officer came to our door. I was pretty much hysterical by the time I answered his knock. Her name is the female version of my husband's name, and I burst into tears as soon as he uttered the first syllable of their names. The cop looked at me like I was nuts. As it turned out, he was looking to speak to my husband about a non-legal, non-accident matter. I calmed down after that, until my stepson got his license at 18 (not his choice, but we were wise to make him wait). He skidded into a ditch after just a few months of driving, and it scared him so bad that he tried to talk his dad into taking him to work that day. My husband told him no, because he didn't want his kid turning into me; a person who has panic attacks when driving in snow. They're both ok so far, and they've both been driving for a 2 to 4 years.

None of the topics have been really active so far today. It will probably pick up later on. I am very glad this decision was made. The article has some really scathing things to say about the WTB&TS.

From the fringes to the outside...
by Amy10606 ini am new here, i thought i would give a short overview of why i am here.
i was baptized at 14. even at that age i had a lot of questions that were shuffled aside by the elders or just avoided all together.
i really felt like i was doing the right thing, i was born into a large family with a suprising track record of no immediate defectors.

IMHO, only Steven Tyler is cool enough to make rap music sound good, tight jeans, bad dancing and all. Aerosmith ROCKS!
P.S. Does everyone know how sinful the lyrics are in "Walk this Way"? LOL!
