  No, i don't pray. I feel it's just a waste of time, it does not comfort me and I've never received any type of answer from prayer!

  Apology for raising children in the Truth

  would you apologize in writing to your children for raising them in the truth?

  i've apologized verbally........ none of them is going to meetings any longer...... my husband and i have been drifting away for several years..... .

  i was raised a witness, and thought we were doing the right thing.

  I think a verbal apology is best. When you talk to someone, your true feelings come across so much better than in writing.

  Don't beat yourself up too much, you did what you thought was right. Just the fact that now you can acknowledge that to yourself and your children speaks volumes!!

  I haven't read everyone's responses yet (trying to catch up).

  Anyway, I think that maybe there has been other things building up to this, you don't find too many women who just up and leave all of a sudden. Usually things are going down hill for awhile and then there is 1 thing that makes you say enough is enough!

  I hope that things work out for you. Sometimes we have to make drastic changes in our lives in order to really be the person that we are. Good luck and please let us know how you are doing.

  what to do? Grandson being beaten by JW stepmother

  this needs a new topic because now i have the step mother hitting my grandson on his penis.

  so i have reported this and social services are calling our eight year old grandson a liar.

  they told the maternal grandmother not to ask questions about the weekend visits with his dad.

  I was already out for 24 years before I found JWD, so no it wouldn't have made a difference. I wish I had JWD when i left for the support and friendships.
