i dont just mean in the islamic world but in the world of ex jwd.. i am so thankful that at the time i was seeking help and new ideas this board did not ritually hang draw and quarter those who wanted to hang on to thier witness views (even thought they were already swimming alone in a pacific ocean with no boat in sight).

we need to be kind to those we disagree with, not make them feel like satan.. why complain about shunning when we treat those who disagree with our views just as badly.. reniaa is now going back to the cult because there were too many judgmental posts - some of which i found very offensive because they disrespected her as a person.. all of us matter.

so many come here hoping for support.

I don't think Reniaa ever left the cult. But from her own words she has been upset by the way "worldly" people have treated her. Childs father was christian and up and left her, bad realtionships with "worldy" men, blah, blah, blah.

Reniaa has been judgemental and condescending to everyone that didn't agree with her JW views. If you can't take it don't dish it. And I don't buy for one minute that she won't be on JWN, she's said that before and she keeps coming back.

Materialism: An Example

i have just realized what crap material items the witlesses live with.

just now, i went through my place and marked the things that the witlesses stocked me up with at the time i moved in 1x years ago (more work, hounders, to figure out just when).

and i found plenty of crap.. first, the "furniture" was flimsy wicker.

You really can't expect others to buy you top quality items to get you on your feet WTW. Come on now let's be realistic. Now that you are able to afford those top quality items and are buying them for yourself that's great, but don't knock people for buying you Walmart items to help you out.

This post to me seems a bit imature and ungrateful.

surrounded by negativity i felt utterly supressed & unhappy.

to carry out my 'responsibilties' became very difficult.

JD keep some Peanut Butter crackers by your bedside or even a jar of peanut butter in your night stand. It's better to bring up your glucose and you won't have to walk to the kitchen. The glucose tabs are good to and it also comes in a paste.

You are a pain in the butt sometimes but I would hate for something to happen to you

it's a beautiful cloudy day in the high '50's (nice and cold for us in cali) with a chance of rain.

i'm cooking and listening to opera, two of my favorite things.

anyone else starting to do the food prep for tg??.

I never cook early. Everything is done on Thursday am and from scratch. The only thing I make before (tonight) will be the pies.

Chuck a sickie! Do you call in sick at work when your fine need a break?

in australia it's called "chucking a sickie" and since starting a new job 3 years ago i have used up almost all my sick days....just for some time off.

i have never really been sick.

i only have 2 days sick leave left and i know that is foolish but i enjoyed myself fishing!
