nosy JWs harassing my fiancee now

i mentioned the 2 nosy jw elders poking around my house 2 weeks ago (and posted a week ago here..and cannot believe it hit 2100+ views).... let me add this disturbing update...no..no jc yet....no word from the 2 old lackeys either.... my fiancee and her son and i were at a winery/restaraunt last sunday (a bad place for an 8yo...overpriced food unappreciated by a kid) when i looked over at the next table on the rooftop deck, overlooking the illinois river, and seen what appeared to be 2 jws ladies and an obviously not jw man with them... on closer look, the one woman was a single jw sister who had a thing for me....and i was chairman of her jc for fornication (not with me...lol).... and another sister..and her non-jw hubby.... i am certain that the single sister seen me but didn't say anything.

i actually recognized the ubm first.

as they were leaving, the married jw sister came over...i introduced my fiancee....and the dub could not help but mention this "wonderful" jw elder that moved into their congo at the request of the co....he is wonderful like roaches are wonderful.....but i digress.

Fast forward a few days later and I meet my fiancee for brunch at her job. As we are sitting there, another nosy JW sister came up to us...again, I introduce my fiancee and she asks when we are getting married...normal question...... but then I leave and my fiancee goes back to work....

and my fiancee tells me when she gets home that the JW sister comes back around after I left and started harassing her about "when are you getting married?, where are you getting married? I guess if Rich doesn't go to the KH you all are having a courthouse ceremony...."/.... then it gets worse...she says about my mother..."you will like Rich's mom....once you get used to her ...she is nice in her own way."....

WTF? What business does she have asking about that? Only at the request of my fiancee do I not go knock on that bi**hes door and tell her off or go the the KH and bust in on one of their cult meetings and tell them all off.... my fiancee does not want me to cause trouble because it happened at her job and she is required to be nice to all the customers.

I told my fiancee: "Next time a nosy ass JW gets in your business...ask them if they want the real "411"....then tell them to look up 1 Thessalonians 4:11 in their own bible...and turn around and walk away."

They have a lot of balls doing that to her..... putting her in that position... I wonder if they will look up that scripture? lol

How Can an Elder Fade Successfully?

im working on my exit strategy out of the watchtower org.

ive set my mind to be out by the end of 2010 or mid 2011. .

id like to avoid getting df and disassociating my self is also an undesirable option.

I was an elder for 5 years, graduated MTS, raised in the Org.

My fade was a complete success until I decided to blow the cover off of it (I am engaged to a nice non-JW..we had a jackolantern out front...LOL)

.,..but from Dec 06 when I gave them enough rope to delete me as an elder to when I quit going to meetings in Sept 07...that was my fade out...then until now.... I have mostly been left alone...see my most recent thread about how the fade is going off the rails. I have posted details of my fade over the last 3 years....

Honestly...if I had moved away from the region...I could have gone off the radar for good. Don't know if that is an option for you.

Which coffee person are you?

gotta have one each morning.. i regret we don't have starbucks in sweden.

I drink black coffee....for everyday in the morning it is just Columbian Folgers.... but a few times a week, my well-caffeinated fiancee and I will drink various flavors....right now those are Viennese Cinnamon or Highlander Grog (I think it is flavored with a bit of whisky) ...I grind the beans fine and brew with filtered water...

...I dare not ever suggest not having coffee.... in fact, my birthday gift to Toni was a BrewStation... I set up the coffemaker the night before and set the timer for 10 minutes before she has to get up for work...and I get up with her to actually make the coffee.... if I don't...and she makes the coffee or pours or preps her own (1 splenda and creamer or half and half)...the counter and/or the side of the cabinet and/or the floor is a mess...

....she does not do well before her first large cup...

...regarding Starbucks..I can't stand them.... both because their coffee is brutally strong (and I like strong coffee...just want some flavor)....and because I was at a Mills mall yesterday and Starbucks' kiosk was closed for the moment...so I went to the other stand....and found out it was a local owner ...who had been run out of another mall with an "exclusivity agreement" by Starbucks....so now I won't go to any Starbucks at all....and his coffee was much better...

what I am shocked at is that this thread has been viewed 1148 times.

Haven't heard anything yet...such a disappointment. They have had a week...what, are they behind on their Gestapo Visits? Backlog for time in the judicial committee room? Their god Jehober is in the privvy and no time to further their witch hunt?

My fiancee was quite pleased with this post...to her it means I am truly free and no chance that I am going to leave her and go back to the cult. She has had a great deal to deal with it.

I apologize for the delay in getting the whole story leading up to this point out... telling the end before the beginning... serious lack of time....I am working on it....updating for recent events.....

..I am headed out to work..thanks for the support on this board these last 3 years..and I am still hanging around...just not nearly as much.........hopefully this story helps other witnesses who have that unsettled feeling in the pit of their stomach and that buzzing in their head every time they go to a meeting to start thinking that...truly...there is a real life on the outside.

well, it finally happened.

... I have a few minutes to write while I await Toni's family for dinner...

...yeah, the PO knew it was a lie..I knew it was a lie, they knew I knew it was utter crap...I had been on many, many such calls...the difference was I always scheduled appointments and I tried to avoid bothering inactive people (unless forced by the CO or some rambunctious fellow elder).

So he wanted to know when we planned to get married...I told him early next year....confirming my unmarried/living with a woman status.

Here is how it went...my fader friend hears from an elder in Congo B (a former best friend) that there are rumors (from nosy sisters) that Snakes has a "woman" living with him...elder in Congo B tells his brother in law who is PO in congo B who tells the PO in Congo A (the PO that visited us) who got his fellow elder buddy along as a "2nd Witness" to my sins.... woman living with me...jack o lantern....

...now they will try to find out which congregation my old publisher card is at...

Well, it finally happened. A week ago Sunday my fiancee and I were sitting in the living room drinking coffee and watching the morning talking heads when we heard the crunch of tires on the gravel in the driveaway, about 10:30 or so. We looked at each other with that "are you expecting anyone?" look. Of course, neither of us was. Really, I had a feeling I knew. I peeked out the window and I did not recognize the car. As the men in suits got out, I recognized both of them immediately. One was the long time PO of the congregation I left back in 1991 and whose territory I still live in. The other was an elder who had been in that congregation but moved away for decades but came back to the area a few years ago....

...I get it...they send the two old goats that they know I won't rip a new one. My fiancee is scrambling because she is in nothing but a night gown and an open robe. I have only my tshirt and flannel jammies with my robe. I quickly tie my robe closed and answer the door. My fiancee is scrambling behind me to tie her robe closed and is looking to me for direction...does she want me to go into the bedroom or stay?

Meanwhile, I have stepped outside to meet the PO and his sidekick..both of these guys are around 80 but look like late 60s/early 70s...so no elders with dementia visting...these are long time, they know what the hell they are doing, elders. I greet both with a handshake. During the pleasantries with the PO, I notice the other elder looking at my jack-o-lantern (my bad attempt at a crow sitting on a branch, but I messed up the template). They have parked behind my fiancees car with the bumper sticker that says "MY CHILD WAS STUDENT OF THE WEEK AT **** ELEMENTARY", and they know I don't have kids. You can see the wheels turning.

So finally, the PO gets to the point. "Well Rich, we were just out making some calls on some we haven't seen in awhile. We already stopped by J**** C***** (a early 20s kid that I dont even know if he got baptized or not) and had a nice talk with him. We just wanted to see how you were." I give him my stock answer...mostly work. At this point, my 8 year old soon to be stepson comes tearing through the house in his spiderman jammies. If I intended to even attempt to hide the fact that I had them here, and I certainly was not going to hide my family, well, the 8-year old took care of any possible doubt....lol.

I introduced the 8-year-old as my soon to be step son and then leaned back inside and motioned my fiancee to come to the door and let me introduce her. She shook their hands and was pleasant (but afterwards she told me she wanted to bite their heads off and tell them where to go...I am soooo proud of her for biting her tongue). She and her son went back inside. The PO says: "someone told us they seen in the local paper that you had applied for a marriage license." What? Uh...hello.... the paper only publishes notice of marriage license when it is issued....

Is internet dating for losers?

after almost a year of internet dating on various sites, i've concluded that it's not the place for me to meet the man of my dreams.

anyway, i'm happy i've given it a shot and i've gained lots of experience and even made a few male friends.

anyone here who's had better luck?.

newborn...I did eHarmony for 13 months. I went on dates with two different women, twice with each one...there was no connection..nice gals...just not for me. I emailed and spoke on the phone with several others. The last one I had a phone/IM/email friendship for a year after I quit eHarmony...but we never clicked.... she was 5 hours away...but lived in the same town as my youngest brother...

..what it did do was get me into the dating scene and out of the JW mindset of "dating"...if not for that I dont know that I would have met my fiancee.... who was under my nose the entire time...lived and worked within 2 miles of my house and I seen several times a week at her job...
