Should the US Comander and Chief be Under the Same Law as the Citizens?

by hotchocolate inmy feelings on this subject have continued consistent throughout my time from being a zealous, believing witness to now.
so there's all these areas of "conscience" as a dub, which movies you can watch, what you can wear etc etc.
but.. here's the catch.

Hey you guys/ladies,
Don't even get me started about the Dub dogma on keeping women subservient. The whole thing is just so archaic and chauvinistic. It used to drive me crazy.
There were some extremely intelligent women in the congregation that I belonged to. One of them was a bank manager and she could have done a helluva lot better job at keeping the Congregation's accounts than the account servant did.
Or, how about insisting that sisters in Minnesota wear skirts in January while they were out in service??? How's that for just plain stupid???

I 've had the chance, but never done it. Guess I am just too conventional with that kind of stuff.
I know people who have done it and they seemed to have positive comments about it.

by IP_SEC insweet tough lady.. she lived for years under my father's abusive thumb for us kids.
she apologized after he died for not being strong enough to take us away.
im glad she didnt take us away.. as a teen i could talk to her about anything.

My Mom is gone now, but she was one miserable bitch. She would go for periods of 6, 8, 10 years without talking to me.
On the other hand, her mother (my Grandmother) was the best damn Grandma in the whole world and that more than made up for it.

The WTS will go more mainstream re 1914 in the decade after 2014
by yadda yadda 2 inwith the deaths of theodore jaracz and john barr imminent and likely to coincide with the fast approaching 100 year 'anniversary' of jesus "invisible presence" as king since 1914, there will be some broad-sweeping changes to the society's 1914 creed.
in the last decade or so we seen a fairly consistent trend of the society being prepared to fiddle with and drop certain date-based interpretations.
this has been the result of the march of time simply painting them into a corner and revealing more of these old esoteric date-based prophecies to be false or in need of major adjustment.

As I was reading your comments it occurred to me that BORG is really just playing one of the biggest shell games in history.
Sooner or later large numbers of Dubs will wise up to it (IMHO).
The one ingredient they are missing that they need to survive is some charismatic leadership. There was a very interesting post a few days ago (I looked for it but couldn't find it) about the evolution of bureaucracies, whether they be governments or other organizations. The poster compared the evolution of the BORG's leadership from the days of Russell down to the present with the leadership of the Soviet Union and China. I have to say that the comparisons were compelling and if they are accurate the BORG will disintigrate.
