  i feel so sorry for the wife and son of this man that lost his life trying to care for a woman being pistol whipped and purse stolen in walmart parking lot.

  jacksonville man is shot and killed outside a north little rock department store, the result of a purse snatching gone horribly wrong.. .

  it happened outside the wal mart supercenter on east mccain in north little rock sunday afternoon.

  Wow 500lbs, nearly 36 stones! How awful to get into that state to begin with and then when he tries to do something about it, ie. take some exercise, he gets into that embarrassing and potentially very dangerous predicament! How he could think tubing was safe though is beyond belief. I just read your thread title out to my husband and he said, "How did they rescue him then? Use a harpoon?" Lol. But I feel sorry for him really, it's probably put him off exercise for life!

  Thanks for being kind and not telling us how it goes. My daughter ordered it from Amazon ages ago so we're hoping it'll arrive tomorrow. Trouble is, since it's her book, (she's paying for it), she gets first read. There are 2 other family members in the queue after her before I even get a look in. The waiting is going to be sheer torture!

  Now this is interesting. I wonder why some people develop personality disorders and other people who have had a similar upbringing don't. Maybe it is genetic as some psychologists believe. In view of the pain that a personality disordered individual inflicts on anyone they can influence or manipulate, it seems to me that it's urgent that much more research is done. That costs money though and since women and children are usually the victims, it's not going to be a priority, is it?
