Is Puerto Rican considered Hispanic? Latino?
Definitely.
Then there is what is known as nuyorican or new yorican.
The Puerto Rican/ Dominican/ Cuban perspective and sense of humor is vastly different from the Mexican/ Central American.
Chicano/ Tejano is yet another world.
Almost as different as White and Black.

but I'm wondering it about hispanic comedians in heneral(sic)(k). I just don't find them funny. And that goes all the way back to Cheech and Chong. I hate to tell it to ya folks, but your accent is not funny enough to form a career around. It's just an accent.

Witness work at 2 a.m.?

a non-jw friend in a southern state has close ties to a jw with a late teen-aged son.

this son is pioneering during late hours, meaning 11 pm to 2 am.

i'm told his car group calls on, among others, convenience store workers where they apparently have much idle time on their hands.

that said... my take on last night's rem concert at lakewood amphitheater.

ok, so i'm an athenian, that means i'm supposed to love all things athens, georgia is about; but i've never been a big rem fan... in fact, when i was offered front row tickets given by the band themselves, i really didn't want to go.
