  or should i say goodbye folks.

  my posting days on xjw sites are over.. thanks to everybody for making this place so vibrant, informative and at times invigorating.

  an special thanks of course to simon and angharad, of whom too many expected too much and who, despite our differing viewpoints at times, have been trustworthy friends to me.

  Who should get involved?

  Is everyone expecting the merrycans to handle this? What about the european countries?

  I've got a dollar that say's the first country to attemp a strongarm or move a military into the area to fight the Russian's, wont be from Europe.

  So everyone is outraged.

  Warning: Mama6 website VIRUS

  seems i am not the only one who got hit.. my computer is still acting up even after downloading more security.. within 30 seconds of clicking on mamasix website link a couple of days ago i ended up with virus.. then, within a few hours i had 7 trojan horses.. the virus was html/framer.2 .

  it is not healable.

  i locked it in vault, but some of these other attachements are still screwing with my machine.. missing link said: have you removed the pop-up viruses yet?.

  I have been on and off the site frequently since last Friday and I have not experienced any problems.

  I ran my anti-virus program this morning and there were no virus's or other unwanted crap on my system.

  There are many who are still not certain where they will be after the JWD closes it's forum. Whether you decide not to continue on any forums or the members here break up into splinter groups, I just want to say I have enjoyed being HERE and sharing this forum with all of you.

  Just an early farewell if we are seperated. Thank you and best wishes to all.

  sad to see the place go under, but im kind of know where simons coming from.

  sometimes you just have to move on!

  Post JW life? If you don't have a wife and children, take the road in that direction and everything else could fall into place.

  i can't get back on and tried with both firefox and ie....says account has been suspended.

  i think the whole site not my personal account..i even tried from second computer and says same thing..

  I didn't see the two thread's on this incident before I visited and posted earlier.

  It is up and working. No pop up or virus warnings on my computer.

  My monster wasn't under the bed. It was everywhere and I couldn't see it. I would wake up at night and hear it's footsteps gradually getting louder, faster and closer. It would eventually stop and I don't know why.

  After a few years of that I realized it was just my heartbeat competing with the fear created by my own imagination.

  My theory about the behavior and obsession of some ex-JWs

  i've had this theory for some time and alluded to it occassionally but have never explored it in detail.. it is of course a huge generalisation so no, not everyone will fit into the boxes and i'd like people's opinion.

  i don't know everyone's circumstances so it's based on a small sample of some of those i do know something about.

  it could be completely wrong, it's just an idea.. basically, i have seen a difference between some of those ex-jws who walked out vs those who were kicked out.. the most bitter and obsessive seem to be the kicked out and, i must add, those who were legitimately kicked out.

  I agree with what you have said, although I don't think it covers it entirely. I think there is a third group of ex-JWs still unidentified and undefined by most. I just can't put my finger on it, yet.

  Catalpa trees

  they are ugly.. i have just driven down my road, and saw several dozen of them.

  an ugly tree, but full of life.

  other than converting co2 into oxygen, not a real reason for them being on the face of the earth.. johnny freaking catalpa must have lived on my road!.
