There is no sense. I know a wonderful woman who was destroyed by the JW thinking of women. My wife and I will make financial decisions together. We share in all of the household responsibilities. She will admit, she allows me to do more dishwashing.

Do not get Baptised until you are sure of what you want. If have a good man you don't want to lose him just yet. You have a long life ahead of you, so take your time and make decisions that you won't regret later.

Im leaving out quite a bit here, Let's just say that during my whole school years I would lay awake at night and wonder, why? Why did I have to be born into this environment? Why cant I be a normal kid, and be allowed to have normal dreams and goals?, Why cant I just be allowed a normal life?
I can relate to that for sure. My parents never had marital problems and we didn't move around a lot. I never had same sex thoughts but everything else I can relate to.

A question for all Whisky drinkers.
by lfcviking inhello chumz on the board.
nothing really to do with jwism but who prefers the american 'bourbon' type such as 'wild turkey', 'jim beam' etc or who prefers a fine single malt scotch such as 'glenfiddich' or 'glenmorangie'?
i am not trying to stir up nationalism with this question but am just genuinely curious.. lfcv.

You are right Stillajw. I like Jack Daniels. The town where the distillery is, is a dry town so if you visit there are no samples. Darn.

Shocker!!!---leading up to my plan
by Junction-Guy inwell folks, i started writing a big post and then the keyboard acted up on me, so i lost everything i was saying.
first of all amanda was right, this isnt anything i can just walk away from, it is'nt something that i can just put behind me and move on.
this involves my sexuality and my childhood experience growing up in the jw cult.

Dave, I'm very interested in how our childhood development in the JWs will compare.

You might have heard it already
With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is
worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went
unnoticed last week.
Larry LaPrise, the man that wrote "The Hokey Pokey" died peacefully at the age
of 93.
The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin.
They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started
Shut up. You know it's funny. -

Does this amaze you or am I the only one????
by avidbiblereader ini will try to make this brief but how can you abbreviate love and kindness?
this is truly amazing!!!!
as many you have seen i ran into a small glitch on the forum the last couple of threads, without going into detail and really not necessary as there have been plenty of comments and views on both threads, i was willing to walk away from the forum because this is my nature as paul said in .

Junctions Wife, you truely are the most loving, understanding and supportive person I have ever met or heard of. My thoughts are with you both in this difficult time.
