  hello folks .

  as other posters have mentioned , i feel , too , that this is something that needs to be kept in the forefront of practicing jehovah's witnesses minds , as they will never hear about these settlements from their elders or governing body.

  so , you folks know me well enough that i don't have a shy bone in my body , and if i see an opportunity i will take it.

  i would like to say hello and introduce myself.

  i have read this forum for a while, didnt know that it existed till some one showed me it, (fellow rebel) about a year ago.

  now the only way that i will get help is to go into it, something i really dont wish to do but know that i have to.

  Dude, I'm on a downslide right now too. Nothing that usually gives me joy is doing it.

  We both need therapy, and know that many of us are going through this kind of thing.

  I just try to find at least two things every day that make live worth living, and not ending it. I don't know, maybe not a good way of thinking, but it usually helps me.

  Today I went for a bike ride with my cousin. So today I reflected that getting to know my cousin and having his friendship would end if I killed myself, also that I wouldn't get to ride my bicycle anymore, and I really love my bicycle, man I'm getting so good at endurance... this makes me happy too... see little sh*t like this.

  I try not to focus on what's driving me crazy, which is social isolation and no female companionship. Tonight I was told I can easily get hooked up with people that just want sex, but that idea is repulsive to me on an intellectual level, just gotta keep thinking about it and not get crazy. I also have to avoid various contacts I have for weed. I want weed so badly right now...damn.

  I just turned 21, and I just got home from an evening "out" with myself...alone...

  Well the movie was good, I brought popcorn home for Grandma, got caught in a thunderstorm on the way home on my bicycle.

  Bloom of Youth, life sucks at any age... especially when you leave the JWs, they stole my whole life...

  so next seasons district convention i plan on doing something fun.

  something that may make us all famous on youtube.. okay, i dress up as an ancient israelite (quick body robe + beard), and during the drama i run out with a megaphone shouting "no!

  i am the faithful and discreet slave!

  I did my first "bad" thing...question about voter registration

  i was at work yesterday and was asked if i wanted to put $5 down on a square the guys had going on for nascar.

  i had been asked before, and always said "no thanks," but this time, i had some cash on me (which is a rare thing), so i decided i might as well try it.

  so there you have it, i gambled.

  Damn its complicated there in the states, and with that electronic voting, yikes, I wouldn't trust those "missed by 1000 votes" crap that always seems to happen.

  Here you just vote for whoever you want, you don't have to register with any party, just to vote in the first place. Oftentimes you simply have to show your drivers license or something else that proves you live in the riding.

  I voted a couple of days ago for the first time, voted for the Green Party. It was meh. I've been volunteering with them this week too, gotten to know the candidate personally and met the Provincial leader personally as well and travelled in their entourage.

  My mother moved to the other side of the continent in British Columbia, she will know nothing of my plan and most likely won't hear anything about what happens.
