I wrote a similar letter 3 months ago... made some folks mad, yet some called me and said I was a hero and they'd been waiting for something like what I said to be done. To the person concerned about trying to convert others... If I can get anyone out of this billsh&% cult I'll do it; how many famies need to be ruined before folks like you catch on to how damn dangerous this cult is?

Our Watchtower Study On obedience & submission

this study arose a lot of questions and heightened emotions in me and the interested retired judge sitting besides me.
we came accross the 9th pharagraph, page 28 of the april 1, 2007, where it says that: "it is easy to obey when everything is clear and we agree, but we will show that we are trully submissive if we yeild even when we do not personally understand the direction provided.

I wrote a letter, mailed it to all my family three months ago and told them all the truth. Some were pissed many wern't. I outlined all the foulups the Wt has committed and simply asked how they could claim to have "God's spirit" guiding them under these conditions. It has mostly worked as I have been called eveything in the book from apostate to being called a hero! Being strong may save your family. Do it, and I guarentee you you will feel great!

It took me 17 years to make the strong stand I'm making today; the past 3 months, I've been writing letters to all my family members outlining the crazy shit the WT has done over the years, you know, the thousands of false predicitons and the building of mansions for returning prophets and the like. I asked them a few simple quesitons; number one, where in the Bible does it say that I can't question the authority of men? In View of the fact these men have committed so many foolish follies, how can they claim to have the spirit of God directing their work? Where is the proof that these guys have the spirit of God. Ask them to show you where the bible says questioning men and not living up to their dictates makes someone an apostate? My letters made some mad as hell, made some call me and say I was a hero for taking a stand; but it made every damn last one of them talk. I know it was the right thing to do.
