Philosophically; Will Governments Remain as we Evolve?

i government as we now know it, has only a very recent history, it is evolving too like us, and we all know there is a lot of unfairness in government, they build bombs that will keep them in power, they waste money on military to insure they stay rulling, appoint men to lead that are often very insensitive to others,and often many are, racist, nationalist, imperialist, and what have you.. freedom is just a bi-word, that means servitude, you serve us, we will tell you what to do, what to think.. just try exersizing some freedom they don't like and see what happens to you: say you decided one day to not pay your taxes because you didn't like the way they were wasting money, be it on a war they start, or thier big military spending,,or anything that is a reasonable complaint, and see what they will do,, they will take away your freedom, even inprison you, and bully you to live in line with some laws they pass, that are not even good, or that really are just plain none of thier business to interfere with.. now we know governement seemingly supplies us with what are considered to be good things, roads, education, makes lots of technology possible, and so forth.

notice i said seemingly, that can be debated, for sure.

more objectivity is requird to debate this imo.. so i would think it very probable, that if man evolves in greater consciousness, that government as we now know it will be so unrecognizable in the future, (because it keeps evolving too,) that we today would view it as no government at all> perhaps as we evovle, just like most dna is *junk dna, and still part of the dna,, but not used, so it may be with governments in the future.. *junk at least as we now think it is read, which could be subject to change if the ways they find out how to read dna ..

When JW's and Christians teach that Adam and Eve's sin caused death. Wrong!

until my science studies at college taught me that animals have been dying way before adam and eve were created i just wonder how can jw's and christians continue to teach their members that adam and eve's sin caused death to enter into the world.

this is utterly "wrong".

and i was shocked to see in a recent "awake" magazine that the wt society actually acknowleges that animals were dying way before adam and eve came on the scene.

what is it about a person's believing they are "right" that leads them to being arrogant?

you've surely noticed that the more sure a person is that he's right, the more likely he is to treat those that disagree with him with disrespect.

it's hard to see how a person can disagree with something that you know is right.

Herbert Marcus, One-dimensional Man, is a very good read. He explains how our "leaders" controls our thoughts (sounds familiar). When humanity realises that we are able to survive by cooperating then will not need governments. I think people right now don't trust there fellow man to do with out government and it's understandable, I think knowledge is the starting point. There is to much ignorance in the world right now. I hope one day humanity does evolve for the better.

of course that's every day for me, reference to your left.... they can bite me because today i'm going riding on my motorcycle in the mountains with the most beautiful woman i've ever seen in my life...and i've seen lot's of 'em.

my business is doing so well i have to tell customers to go away because i can't get to them, and i'm healthy enough to do anything i want.. and i'm free in mind, body, and spirit.

"The Red Corvette" problem -- a disconnect in view points

in another thread, a poster brought up what he called "the red corvette" problem.

the problem, he said, is that if you are a true atheist, you must believe that a red corvette could simply form out of nothing.

if you believe life originated from nothing, then you must believe that a less-complicated machine such as a sports car could also have originated from nothing.

have you heard of that famous book the tipping point by malcolm gladwell?

well i thought i would have a go at his more recent book called blink which is about subconscious split-second decisions.

generally i would say it is an overrated if entertainingly written book.

I think some old timers just can't stand the thought of admitting they invested their whole life in a big scam.

That's a funny story and I think that is part of the problem. An other factor, I think, is what I like to call the "Matrix" factor, when you have been "pluged

" for so long your brain can't handle the shock so you remain in denial. I think of my mother in law, she is in so deep it's part of her personnality, that if she would learn the truth, she could not accept it, she probably have a mental brake down.

1- Antichrist, how does life evolve from lifeless matter? Please tell us.

2- Antichrist, how does it feel believing that red corvette simply could arrive all on its own since universe, life and earth (all far more complex) all arrived on their own?

3- Antichrist, if its true that all these things just happened on their own, why cannot the same science and technology which sends folks to the moon, create ANY LIFE (even the simplest of living things) from non-living matter today?

4- Antichrist, what about the universal fact of life PRINCIPLE that EVERY BEGINNING MUST HAVE A CAUSE CAUSE? What does THAT do for atheism?

5- Antichrist, what does it say to you when people such as Einstein, Copernicus, Sir Francis Bacon, Johannes Kepler, Galileo, Descartes, Newton, Boyle, Faraday, Mendel, Kelvin, Max Planck, and thousands of others scientists, philosophers, leaders such as Ghandi, MLK, every single President elected and many other successful people as well as BILLIONS of others believe in a Supreme Intelligent Designer and REJECT ATHEISM OUTRIGHT.

If you are not atheist Antichrist, then will you tell the other posters just WHY you are not atheist at this time. Though your replies sure SOUND like atheist. If you are atheist then please answer the questions. There is only five of them. Or perhaps another atheist can answer all five in order.

Hi vinny, I thought I did answer, but I'll try to make myself more clearer.

1-I don't know, Like I said I'm here to find answers and different point of views.

2-I don't believe the red corvette thing.

3-I'm not sure but maby I'ts because they don't know how to and that's why they are still doing research

5- That every body has a right to beleive what they whant.

thanks to the last three paragraphs of this week's wt being devoted to complete insanity, i passed a tiny, tiny, little mile-stone in fading.

I had a freind that her mother was questioning the"truth" so her mother prayed and guess what? mormons knocked on her door!!!!!!!! So now she is a mormon.
