when i was studying, the sister who studied with me was a pioneer and as "righteous-overmuch" as they come!

i wasn't even baptized and she was already pressuring me to pioneer since i didn't work.

nevermind that i had three little girls all under 4!!!.

Yes, a work situation. The ratio is freaking wacky. 7 dubs to 3 nons in the business. Owned by dubs, and I ask you, how am I able to still work there after everything? Believe me, I could write a book.

about 15 minutes ago, i was in the video shop when i saw a witness i knew from 5 years ago standing next to me.

assuming he was no longer a witness as he was looking at all the porn movies, i start asking him how he's been.

he then insinuates that the only reason i have 5 kids is for the social security payments.... i then come home furious...and yell at my family!.

Also, instead of using disassociated, or disfellowshipped, when telling them your status, use words like "escaped", and "out of the darkness".

Well, I know some couples in the "TRUTH", that are specifically avoiding having children....atleast in this, "system".

So how many are in this same train of thought that IT is still..."right around the corner", and are not gonna raise more borgs in the organization, which will effect future numbers?

I suspect a good bit.

about 7 months ago i asked the school overseer to take me off the school, as i was 'busy with work exams' things have been good since then (well, sort of...) no talks for 7 months!

but then, my wonderful father, decides to ask the school overseer to put me back on!

he puts me back on!

The guy or guys in charge of whipping/punishing and keeping in-line the slaves, on plantations during the War Between the States (civil war), were also called "Overseers".

I have posted a few times, but didn't say Hi yet, so HI!

I have been tuning into the forum for about a year. It's a good forum no doubt. I log in on my phone to read topics on occasion too.

So I've been around a handfull of JW about 6,000 hours over the last 3 years, so I think I've logged enough hours to hang here a bit.
When I was approached with looking into the "TRUTH", (which is like calling salt sweet), I became interested in researching this faith.
I'll tell you it's very interesting being around actives, all the time, and then listening to everyone's experiences here, and comfirming my research, it's great.

When I hear your past years of experiences, as JW's, I'm just glad I dodged the bullet. Some of my posts and replies, will probably be things that I've researched on or things I'm experiencing or hearing around these Jehovah's Witnesses. Some info you provide me will help me in my dealings with them, and give me insight to things they are currently living, as some of you that post here are feeding current doctrine and events taking place.

Thanks to everyone, and I'm so glad I came across this DF. Around them I'm known as "the guy who satan is using against us, so be careful of what you say".
