  i have been lurking on this site for long time now.

  my sister-in-law told me about this forum when i had questions and concerns about bible teachings from the organization.

  i have never posted because i was scared of getting found out---that would have disastrous results.

  I was DF's a very long time ago. My mom is the only JW in my family now. She did not shun me until 20 years after my DF! If it weren't for the shunning I wouldn't give a rat's ass about JW's and what they believe. The WT$ is a cult that splits up families.

  Would you care for your elderly JW parents in time of medical need?

  this thought came to me as result of another thread on healthcare.

  alot of people consider caring for their elderly parents to be a burden, mentally, physically and economically.

  so my question is this, add into that the emotional upheaval of being shunned or semi shunned by your parental units due to their faith in "jehovah's organization" (i physically gag when i even type that, lol) would you turn your back on them and said, payback is a bitch isn't it?

  I would in a pinch. But, my siblings and I have decided the burden will fall on my youngest sibling who is not shunned. Of course if the need should ever arise, I would care for my mom or hire someone else to. But with the new system so close, she'll never need it apparently.

  Hello! Update on me...

  i have been laying low for a while, and wanted to say hi to everyone, and give a bit of an update.

  the past year i have learned to let go of my mom and step-dad.

  my mom wouldn't talk to me before, but my step-dad and i went through some conversations that showed me how ignorant he is.

  State truthful facts about Xians that make them look bad, weird, foolish

  you don't need to exaggerate the foibles of xians to get the point across that they are not "the truth".

  can you state some facts that show that xians are not "normal'' and that their religion is weird?.
