  anti-bullying materials available from witnesses .

  members of the jehovah's witnesses have developed a curriculum to teach young people how to resist bullies and bullying.

  based on the experiences witnesses endured as one of the groups persecuted by the nazis in germany, the materials encourage students to retain their own integrity under pressure, to stand up for others and to resist unkindness in themselves and the temptation to retaliate when they feel wronged.

  100 dollars says whatever their advice is, makes it worse for kids. the only way to stand up to bullies is tokick their butts. most of the fights i've been in were over other people. i had a lot of friends that were little guys, and when others would mess with them, they had to deal with me.

  Universal Soverienty

  one of the biggest tests for me when learning with the jw was why god permitted wickedness, suffering, cruelty ect... they say because of the issue involving jehovah'suniversal soverienty, satans challenge to gods right to rule..gen 3:15. and how we are all involved in this issue (job).

  also people will have to know i am jehovah (ezekiel 36:23: 39:7) the sanctification of gods name is placed as the highest importance for the issue of u. s.. i have always had a problem with this, as for me i can't understand how god could allow so much cruelty just to prove satan a liar and through inhereted sin we to are involved in this because adam was our fleshly father.

  does this sound egotistical to you, or am i really evil for even thinking that there is something wrong with all this.. so do you see a connection with " why god has allowed wickedness, and the issue of his universal soverienty"..

  Adam & Eve question???

  one of my workmates just asked or stated...why did eve have to have a rib from adam and all of the the other animals were just created?

  adam was walking through the garden when jehovah approached him. he told adam, i will make you a perfect mate. she will be loving, submissive, a perfect companion. adam said, that sounds great. jehovah said, it'll cost you an arm and a leg though. adam thought for a bit, and said, what can i get for a rib? lol

  Arguments against Disfellowshipping

  i would like a simple step by step explanation that refutes the disfellowshipping policy as practiced by jehovah's witnesses.. obviously, i don't agree with the policy but i have had trouble making my explanations clear and straightforward.. any help would be appreciated..

  That Evil Disco??

  back in october 1983, there was a craptower study article that effectively banned disco, rock, and funk music.

  it also spelled the end of those rollerskating parties that the congregations used to organize.

  now, i can see their reasoning behind the rock (backmasking satanic messages) and funk (dirty), even though it is very specious.. however, the "evil disco" strikes me as weird.

  new kids on the block. i so wanted to see them. hahahahahahaa seriously, though, pink floyd is my favorite band, and they came here on their last tour and i had to miss it for a convention. i'll probably never get to see them live now.
