Juar my own opinion, but I think alot of the explanation about the trinity has to do with when Jesus said that he had been given all the power and authority. Just exactly did that mean? And he had been given a name above all other names, what did that mean? And we are to pray in the name of Jesus, does that mean we just use the name and then pray to Jehovah, or do we actually tell Jesus what we want of Jehovah?

I consider this like a CEO and the managers under him. The pions deal with the managers and the managers deal with the CEO. As far as the scriptures, I leave that to the scholarly of us.

I haven't read the article yet, but the sentence you quoted does not mention love of the organization. It must have been mistakenly left out.

If people are not to be judged untill the 1000 years after armageddon, then how are any wicked to be destroyed at armageddon. The problem with the society is that they have got their chronology of the end events are screwed up. They realized that with the article about the fact that we are not bringing in the sheep at this time. When they said that, then they started causing their selves more problems. The more they write the worse their problems get. They would be better off if they would just shut up.

Of course they don't care because they know most jws don't read their crap anyway or don't care either.

Our kingdom hall has a horrible a/c system . It did not have a way to filter out carbon dioxide. The more people the worse it got. It makes people extremely sleepy and ill. I told them about it all the time but nothing ever got fixed. My cure was to go outside many times just to wake up. All new construction has no air circulation . Buildings are too air tight. The jws are constantly complaining about their health. I have seen them comming out of the hall looking like death warmed over a sure sign of carbon dioxide poisoning. Maybe the halls are disigned that way. Makes it easier to hypnotise you.

shocker at the group last week..... i was at the group last week (1st in about 4 weeks) and the conductor (the p.o.

) takes a sister aside and tells her that she was not allowed to breastfeed her baby before or after the book study because "someone" found it awkward.. hmm, i wonder if it was him that found it awkward.. anyway the twist in the story is that the group meets at her house.

the sisters husband was far from happy but is to reserved to do anything about it.

I have never heard the society discourage breast feeding. It sounds like some morons own opinion, and the best thing to do with opinions is keep them to yourself.

The old testament jews had all kinds of festivals, there is nothing festive about assemblies. Yet the society tries to compare the two. The society really has to screw with the scriptures to come up with their meeting and assembly crap. Ask any jw to show you in the scriptures this time of meeting schedule and they come up with "do not forsake the gathering of yourselves together", but if "where two or more of you are gathered together I will be with you" does not count.

The tora is the real bible for the jews and the watchtower is the real bible for the jws. Both are just a continuation of man made rules. The bible is only used when it is convenient.

she has ms and its difficult for her to stand at the door.

I always wondered why people just don't have a nice little sign made that says 'jehovahs witnesses stay the hell away from here'. Even the dumbest of jws should understand that.

ARE JWS LAZY?

Some of the laziest I have seen were the so called spiritualy strong. Some of the hardest working were the spiritualy weak. Years ago I quit volunteering to work on the hall because there were always too many chiefs and not enough indians ( me being one of the indians) and of course all of the chiefs being elders, ministerial servants, and their families . If it were not for all the so called weak jws I don't know how anything would ever get done.

A very good friend of mine (disfellowshipped) and who I kept seeing for years ( society kiss my behind), is a large man, works like a dog , strong as a grizzly bear , can outwork 5 good men, and intelligent but rough around the edges, was made fun of because it was so god awful hot he took his shirt off. (he had being swinging a pick) The good jws stood around snickering like idiots . After that they had neither me or him again to treat like crap.

I have lots of these stories, but every time I start talking about them it just upsets me that I ever put up with that crap. So I only come up with one every once in while.

One easy question to stump a JW

for quite some time i have been tossing around the idea that there has to be a question out there, a question that can cut straight to the heart of what it means to question the watchtower.

last night while doing some mindless tasks i think that question may have come to me.

That is a question I have thought about alot. The truth is that they cannot . To really screw with their minds, find a perpetual calendar from the internet and ask them to correlate the events from the revelation book to the dates on the calendar . I have done this and nothing in the book comes close. That is the number of days mentioned in daniel, 1260, 2300 etc. I'm just taking these from the top of my head, I would look it up but I can't seem to find the revelation book. But the point is that the whole thing was made up by rutherford and being the idiot he was he didn't go to the work of checking the dates but just the years. Others on the net have done this also.

Elders doing something they could be DF'ed for wile judging someone on JC?

the jc that df'ed my brother one of the elders was screwing a married sister!.

i know of at least 2 cases of that.. one guy was po for many years turns out he had been screwing his own daughter since she was little.. .

I have seen many elders and misterial servants come and go. Many quit and many disfellowshipped. I am related to many of them that are no longer around. I always knew they were not saints and felt they had no buisness judging anyone, and that is what elders do, I don't know how anyone can call it anything else. I have never been impressed by any elder or ministerial servant. Most of them that I have ever known had enough trouble taking care of their own buisness without trying to take care of anyone else. I have told many of them just that.

I have always been leary of people who are free with their advise. Especially from people who have the audacity to think their advice is worth anything. I find that most people who give advice have enough problems of their own without trying to take care of yours.

I have no problem with people giving thier opion if someone ask for it . If I do want someones opinion I will ask them.

the un is on the verge of banning religion.. why is this rumor constantly being brought up by the jws?.

the un does not have the power to ban religion, such an act would go against its very charter and its declaration of human rights.. many of the member nations are islamic and would never vote to ban religion as it would undermine their own very existence.. so the idea that the un would or could ban or even consider banning religion is unrealistic.

never going to happen.. but the jws have been whispering that "the un is going to ban religion" for decades....why?
