Here's my 2 cents. It's the elite wonders of the world (money controllers) that are manipulating world events. These elite wonders represent the king of the north and south, how? they are the backers of self assuming governments, they support (financially) these kingdoms. It's all a DISTRACTION. The greatest trick in the world is, DECEPTION.

Who do you think the King of The North is?
by Number1Anarchist inlet me know thru your studies who do you think the king of the north is?.
russia or china i'm guessing but that would be a logical choice.. this is my opinion but i think with the united states getting involved in territories that are under control of russia and china is reaching a boiling point and eventually somone is gonna say i have had it i'm not taking this anymore.. i read this also that in a chinese proverb they have a sayin "kill the chicken to frighten the monkey" the chinese beleive the attack on iraq was the chicken and they are the monkey.. now i'm hearing they are or may blockade iran.
if this happens it could be the final straw but maybe not but i think very soon we will see the knig of the north rise up in defiance to the united states.. let me know what you think please!.

Sept 15th 2003 Watchtower Page 26-30
by stillajwexelder injust read this article about martin luther -- the wtbts state -- luther recognized that god's favor cannot be earned.
rather , it is granted to those exercising faith romans 1:16; 3:23,24,28 .
these days i do not go to meetings very often so i do not know what is new light and old -- and have read in r. franz coc similar material with ed dunlap and commentary on letter of james.. this implies salvation can not be earned (i.e.

Why don't they apply James 1:27, helping the orphans and widows? Solomon said in Eccl.12:13, "The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole obligation of man. This same thought is expressed in 1John 5:3 but adds, "...and yet his commandments are not burdensome, because everything that has been born from God conquers the world. And this is the conquest that has conquered the world, our faith."

Why Can't People Just Show Appreciation For This Place???
by minimus ini've been reading a few pages of threads from saturday until today and i can't understand why some,(actually very few) try to damage this site.
this is one of a handful of (ex)jw sites that really helps people get out of the organization.
the interaction that we have here shows anyone how we can leave the so- called "truth" and enjoy life!

Do you take Responsibility
by kerj2leev inusually the one that doesnt want to be friends anymore wont recognize his/her part in the failure.. in jg wifes thread about being friends with your ex the above comment was made.
in failed relationships it's usually both parties that share the blame.. in the past three years since my divorce i have come to except my part in the break-up of our marriage.
i have identified areas that i need to work on to be in a healthy relationship.

Good post. Acknowledging blame and taking on responsibility is a must for maturity. My lady friend has a habit of pointing her finger, one day I said to her, have you ever notice that when you point, three fingers are pointing back at you? She laughed and said 'never.'

I just came from my elder's meeting
by BonaFide injust to review, i had my meeting today with the two elders who say a sister has accused me of "grinding" with her and thus porneia.
so i printed out several of your comments on how to defend myself.
i felt good about standing my ground, and repeating that i had not "grinded" with this ex-friend and that she wants to ruin the relationship i have now with the sister i am dating.. however, the two elders today really tried to pressure me.

My last disfellowshipping was a blessing in disguise. Like you, these elders where determined to get me, so they did, how? They both decided that I wasn't telling the truth and I was faking it. Yes, they decided for me. When this happened, the light bulbs went on. I knew I had a clean conscience. Their thinking for me was the turning point for my wife, she no longer went to congregational meetings. She was never disfellowshipped.
You've been given lots of good info to think about, I wish you the best. -

Do you find yourself kinda thinking conspiricy theorist are maybe correct?
by IreallydidwalkoutofaKH ini don't know if it is me or if it is becauce i was taught so much false teachings growing up, or maybe that the watch tower publications are about a 10th grade level and when i read a thoughtful article i want to believe it.
but boy, television media seems to present the public with truths the same way the watchtower presents its truth.
with 10 minute sound bites, never getting to deep and really not explaining very well the history of some of the subjects.just a thought!

For the record.
Beta-male said, "your lack of an answer concerning your possible anti-semitism is telling enough to me."
I sent B-male my response, I said, I've been dating a Jewish lady for the past two years and have attend weddings and social functions. -

B-male. You don't have the guts to challenge Alan Stang. Anti-semitism is another hoax, Mr. Freedman deals on this topic in great length in his book,"Facts Are Facts." You never heard of Mullins until I brought it to your attention. Here's more names, Antony C. Sutton who wrote "The Federal Reserve Conspiracy." A. Ralph Epperson "America's Secret Destiny." Willian Guy Carr, "Pawns in the Game." John Coleman,"Conspirators Hierarchy: The story of the Committee of 300." Gary Allen, "Say 'No' to the New World Order." Also, "None dare Call it Conspiracy."
What have you provided me, anti-semitism ? Really, you can do better than that. Give me something to go on to disprove there is no government conspiracy. Do you know who the Rothschilds are? Am I asking to much? Check out, "Billions Missing From U.S. Indian Trust Fund." No Conspiracy?
Have a good day.
