2 thessalonians 2:11; "so that is why god lets an operation of error go to them, that they may get to believing the lie....".
this scripture has intrigued me for quite a while.
exactly what is "the lie"?
:2 Thessalonians 2:11; "So that is why God lets an operation of error go to them, that they may get to believing the lie...."
:This scripture has intrigued me for quite a while.
:Exactly what is "the lie"? It's singular - it's not speaking about various lies or deceptions, only one!
Read 2 thessalonais 2:11 again. It's really quite simple.
"The Lie" is this: "we speak for God."
What lie could be worse than that when it has been proven to be a lie for the whole existence of this religion?

: JW funerals can turn into an Infomercial or a MLM rah rah session. They don't know how to do Eulogies well.
I'll never forget the reprt of that lunatic Fred Franz presiding over a dub funeral. The first words or "eulogy" out of his mouth were, "Isn't it grand to be ALIVE!"
What a clueless raving twit that piece-of-shit was.

ending a sentence in a proposition can get a guy slapped a who bunch of times.. conjugating stuff should only be done in a proper marriage.. a split infinity leads to babies.. gerunds are little animals certain movie stars put in places where the sun don't shine.. transitive refers to people who live under bridges.. intransitive refers to people who live in houses.. double life imprisonment is a compound sentence for really bad guys.. a compound/complex sentence is almost the same thing, but the judge was on drugs and didn't have a clue when he issued it.. parsing a sentence should only be performed by people who don't have a clue what they are doing.. an example of a propositional phrase is "hey babe!
your place or mine?".
alliteration is what happens when a whole bunch of people toss garbage out of their car windows on the highway.. punctuation is what every 14 year old boy wants to do to every 14 year old girl and every other female on the planet for that matter.. using a semi-colon in a sentence is the same thing as using a period, except it isn't.. using a colon is something best done in private.. most people, use commas, way too much, and this, should be, avoided, however.. exclamation marks should be used sparingly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
: How about the hanging participle/dangling modifier?
I haven't made much of a study of quantum mechanics, so I don't exactly know what a "participle" is, much less a hanging one.
I do know what a "dangling modifier" is, though. I once bought one for myself at an adult book store, but don't tell my kids that, ok?

A Corrigendum
When I sent this off to the printers so I could get it posted on this site, I inadvertantly forgot to include two very nifty tips on grammer:
who/whom - "Who" always refers to the subject of a sentence, while "whom" always refers to the object of a sentence. Since no one actually knows what a sentence subject or sentence object is, there is an easier way to remember how to properly use these two words: if you want to sound like a prick, use "whom." Otherwise, use "who."
layed/laid - There is only one usage that is the most important: "I need to get laid." The other usages are for pedants to haggle over.

Ending a sentence in a proposition can get a guy slapped a who bunch of times.
Conjugating stuff should only be done in a proper marriage.
A split infinity leads to babies.
Gerunds are little animals certain movie stars put in places where the sun don't shine.
Transitive refers to people who live under bridges.
Intransitive refers to people who live in houses.
Double life imprisonment is a compound sentence for really bad guys.
A compound/complex sentence is almost the same thing, but the Judge was on drugs and didn't have a clue when he issued it.
Parsing a sentence should only be performed by people who don't have a clue what they are doing.
An example of a propositional phrase is "Hey babe! Your place or mine?"
Alliteration is what happens when a whole bunch of people toss garbage out of their car windows on the highway.
Punctuation is what every 14 year old boy wants to do to every 14 year old girl and every other female on the planet for that matter.
Using a semi-colon in a sentence is the same thing as using a period, except it isn't.
Using a colon is something best done in private.
Most people, use commas, way too much, and this, should be, avoided, however.
Exclamation marks should be used sparingly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Contractions should only be used by women in labor, and even then sparingly.
Only capitalize proper nouns. Do NOT capitalize improper nouns. For example, do not capitalize "run."
Verbs have tenses. It seems that just about everyone and everything these days have tenses. These are tough times, especially for verbs.
Some of these verbs are perfect tenses and some of them are imperfect tenses. Adam is a good example of a perfect tense. He had Eve. You'd be tense too if you had Eve. She screwed up everything. No wonder Adam was tense.
Spelung is essential for gud grammer, too.
Every proper sentence has a subject and a predicate. We all learned this in 3rd grade. Now nobody actually KNOWS what a subject and a predicate actually is, but we all know every proper sentence should have one.
All teachers of the English language are insane.
I made all of this up.

i know that most people on here dislike the idea of a petition, but i think i finally realized a petition that could really work.
in the candice conti case she was allowed to start a civil lawsuit that was way past the statute of limitations.
because california has changed the their civil statute of limitations in sexual abuse cases.. so how do petitions come in?
Diest,
I don't have time to comment on your entire reply right now, but I will on this comment:
: For instance did you know that until the 14 th amendment was passed the bill of rights was only applicable to the federal government and not to the state governments?
Of course I knew that. It became what is known as the "inclusionary rule." As it now stands, most or all of the Bill of Rights also no apply to State Governments. In fact, I cannot think of one clause in the Bill of Rights that today only apply to the laws of the Federal Government. Can you? (Besides the 9th and 10th Amendments, of course).

Diest,
: Farkel look up at FatFreeks post. I am not talking about a criminal matter here. Civil law is different and not covered to the same level by the constitution as criminal law is.
Well, why don't you actually READ the Constitution, then. What part of "any law" do you have a hard time understanding?
State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility.
A 1798 Supreme Court ruling is hardly definitive. The Constitution AS RATIFIED does not distinguish between criminal and civil laws. The Supreme Court gave us Jim Crow laws, too. Anyone, even an idiot who actually reads Article 1 Section 10 can clearly see the intent of our Founding Fathers. They didn't want people to have a different "escape clause" when they did the deed, only to have a more punitive escape clause years or decades after the original "escape clause" had expired. Such a practice could lead to all sorts of Government Tyranny(tm).
Diest, you may look like Thomas Jefferson, but I knew Thomas Jefferson and you are no Thomas Jefferson!

it is commonly a human tendency to see your enemies/opponents as somehow bestial, subhuman, stupid and the like.
so, i hesitate to simply 'write off' the governing body as utter fools, senile, drunk, arrogant beyond logic, or lost in 2012 as the representatives of a 19th century religion.. nonetheless, it's simply hard to believe that they can fail to notice the intensifying confluence of negative trends and decline that surrounds them.
