In the NWT Is.45:7 says" Forming light and creating darkness, making peace and creating calamity,"
Jehovah is LOVE and he cannot lie.
This Scripture shows that Jehovah is the creator of all things. A loving God could not create evil.
A loving God does make peace and also since he is Almighty he creates calamity for opposers.

GOOD GOD!! WHY ARE THERE SO MANY.......????
by Terry in....spelling errors on the topic headers?.
how much effort does it take to check your spelling before you post a topic??.
just read over some of the topics up for discussion right now and you'll see a very shocking (to me, at least) disregard for accuracy.. if you can't trouble yourself to get your spelling right how are the rest of us going to respect the fact you have your reasoning right either??.

As a writer, spelling and grammar are important to you. I was sent an email the other day ... it was a paragraph printed where the spelling of each word was jumbled. Only the first and last letters were where they belonged. I had absolutely no problem reading it ... most people don't.
This being a discussion forum ... getting ones point across is all that really matters. If everyone took the time to correct everything ... a lot could get lost ... losing ones ideas while worrying about perfect spelling.
Mechanics, cooking and carpentry are sidelines to you. Posting here may be a sideline to many nonperfectionists.

You are a writer.
Why do expect a mechanic, a cook or a carpenter to have your skills?
Could you fix my car?
Could you cook a great meal?
Could you build me a house?

Experiences at the meetings
by slimboyfat insince i still go to meetings i am going to post some thoughts about what i see and hear to refresh apostate memories of what glorious experiences you are missing out on these days.
yesterday we had the book study, the boredom of the study itself was only alleviated by two incidents, one sad and the other strange.... there is a sister who is bi-polar and comes infrequently who was there.
she was called to give an answer and started crying into the microphone.

I won't try explaining anything to you anytime soon. Too many two syllable words seem to stress you out. I'll give you a few hours to figure this one out :)

Most of you claim you didn't support the donation arrangement .. or still don't. Is that how you deal with other areas of your life? Very telling. If you are wishy washy in something so important .. are so stingy in other things?

Hi Faery
Sorry your experiences of being JW were so terrible. My background is the opposite as my family life got normal after we accepted the truth. Good to hear you now have a happy life with good friends :)

The reason for the mike at the hall is for the telephone hookup.
