  when i interviewed for my position my now boss asked me why i didn't have a degree.

  my mind filtered out "well you see sir i wasn't allowed to go to college and without that hope basically glided through high school and then went to a trade school so that i could eat.

  " instead i told him that it was one of my major goals.

  Nope, Aside from the aforementioned folk who go back for family, I have never heard of anyone who became convinced it wasn't the truth, and then went back to believing it was after all.

  Radical Apostasy v Liberal Apostasy

  in the wake of the 'dannygate' issue it made me think about the impact of apostasy and it various forms and on some level how it equates to the feminist movement and its development over the years.. initially, the radical feminist movement were and are the typical man hating, bra burning cross section who undoubtedly moved womens rights foward significantly and to some degree still do.

  without the radical feminist movement, the likelihood of the liberal and more balanced feminist movements ever existing would have been uncertain if not improbable.

  so indirectly the feminist movement owes a lot to those radicals who were out there burning bra's and linching men (i was joking about the last bit).

  I've read thru the posts on this topic, and I think I see the problem.

  Not all activism is radical activism

  Setting up websites, critically analyzing the lit, opposing the b0rg, that's not radical in my view.

  Radicalism might be in the eye of the beholder since it is a subjective term, but I think most folks would see pepper spraying some old dudes as pretty radical.

  Standing outside meetings or assemblies with a sign, might be radical, but it's in no way in the same league as pepper spray.

  Look, I think we got room for radicals under the big apostate tent, but just try not to hurt anyone and you got my thumbs up.

  It must be a pretty big bummer that you got that kid's had up your backside.

  First off, it looks damn uncomfortable.

  Second, I bet you get dragged into daycare centers, sandboxes, and naptime. BORING!

  You should try to get her to give you to some hot leggy supermodel type, at least then you'll get to go clubbin, or something.

  It really was a sight!

  Lil' ol' Angie driving that massive truck around, made my ol' Roller heart proud.

  She done good, all the hippies and vegans in their Pious and Blecho hybrid econo-weenie-boxes gave her plenty of space.

  She handled it like a chip off the old blockhead himself!

  She only has her permit, I think it's time she took that test.

  Then I'll let her out on her own to terrorize the timid, bring the thunder and shake the ground.

  i mean, the guy just seems larger than life and has so much drama going on, and now there's more of them with the introduction of the wife/gf and daughter characters you gotta wonder.. do any of you have any real experience with this joker?.

  the po talked about "obeying those who take the lead" one too many times last night so i point-blank asked him who was the leader of christianity during biblical times.

  i couldn't get him to say "jesus" which is of course the correct answer, so i had to answer for him.

  i then added that he would have had assistance from the apostles making them de facto "leaders" as well.

  I am not sure a blanket generalization is possible.

  I have known witnesses who would absolutely have killed their own children if they believed it was the Command of God,

  It's called the "Blood Issue"

  I have known others who wouldn't have been able to do the deed even if angels had descended from heaven with a gold plated AK-47 on a silver platter and a permission slip from Jehovah.

  They're called "weenies"

  I think the leadership wishes they could, there's little doubt of that.

  If they DID send hit squads, it could save lives if they came to my door first because it would be the LAST door they called on.

  It's called "a foregone conclusion"
