if you got married while a witness... did any of the elders come to you and talk to you about the right and wrong sexual acts you can perform??

honey, i did tell you... actually the same day she asked me. lol you have the worst memory your sooo cute.... i told her that i didn't know (tee hee) and that i didn't see anything wrong with it anyway because if God made us differently to enjoy different things sexually i don't see how something that brings you pleasure can be wrong if god made us that way. lol that was an awkward conversation.

anyway, yes i was talked to about different things that are "wrong" lol but it might have just been a small town nosey congregation. doesn't matter anymore i guess. thanks for all you imput on the matter everyone!

lol i remember those embarressing talks that i would blush through when i use to be innocent and pure. lol but when i was even thinking about marrage i got the sex talks from everywhere. my parents, the elders, My mom was especially personal with it she actually said to me one day "he doesn't like the rough stuff does he? like handcuffs and stuff?" this is comming from the woman who hasn't had sex in about 10 years... anyway plus i was a pioneer at the time and it might have been their way of trying to get me to break up with him but i had so many pioneer "sisters" who would talk to me about the wrong things to do. lol it cracks me up now but i am just curious if anyone else had this experience?

lol i know. i got a myspace account before i left and when i took my religious option off i got all these nasty messages from jw's i know. it cracks me up how hypocritical people are. i think i scared them off with all my angry blogs twards them. haha victory is mine!

Oh and did you know there was actually a talk at the convention a few years ago actually stating that myspace is a way for Satan to get to you? thought that was pretty interesting.

hypnosys experience?

hello everyone, long time lurker, first post.

can you share your experiences with hypnosis?

beyond the yes it worked for me or no it did not work for me, what i am looking for especifically is whether or not it opened you up for demon attacks or demonic activity.

First of all WELCOME! and second i have never experienced hypnosys i've researched it some because i was interested in the idea of it for a while but no experience but i do believe in demons. Once when i was really young my sister was at home alone when my brothers keyboard started playing a song on it by itself. i know it sounds silly but my sister was so tramatized by it and i believe it was demons messing with her.

ok for some reason i can't sleep tonight and feel like writing so i'm gonna tell my story of how i got to this point.

well i view it this way.... You are who you are because of your experiences in life that's something that can't be helped. but you have a choice of how to handle those experiences. in my case i had the choice of letting what happened to me turn me into a bitter person that hates the world and everyone in it and never letting real solid love in to my life and not being truly be happy or i had the other choice of saying wait a minute this is my life! i take control and i choose to be happy and move on. although, yes, this is something that is going to take a looooong time to fully recover from but ya know i've made the choice to heal because i think i went through hell for 18 years and its about time i start living in happiness.

i tried to shorten it as much as possible.. my family belonged to a baptist church and i was baptized in that church when i was 8 years old.

i sincerely believed in jesus and the bible then and still do now.

Hey guys! thank you again. now that i've actually read my own story a couple of times i am so proud that i got out. I was letting everyone make me think that what i went through was no big deal and that i shouldn't be angry or upset over it. One of my "friends" from my old hall in texas just wrote me on myspace about me not going to meetings. she actually had the gaul to sit there and say "Why are you so angry? your family was great to you. everyone has it rough at some point in their lives." i think writing my story out gave me the strength to finally say what i've always wanted to say back to those heartless people. "I'm tired of brushing it off like it's no big deal that i was hurt so bad by the people that are suppose to make you feel safe and love you. I have the right to be upset i have the right to be angry and i DESERVE to be happy for once in my life. so i'm going to be angry and upset and happy!" and she hasn't written back. :) VICTORY IS MINE!!!! and now all you lady's see why i'm so happy with my hubby. isn't he amazing. anyway. thanks for all your support. and please keep giving me your opinions of what to do. i desperately need them.
