i'm still determined not to vote - just to write something unpleasant about pollies on the ballot paper.

if i lived in victoria, i just may, as an act of sheer bastardry, vote for julian assange (of wikileaks fame), but i don't live in vic, so i cant.. my objection to voting is that the political choice offers two self-perpetuating oligarchies (who are something like the governing body).

they make up a slate of candidates and election advertising consists of attempting to persuade swinging voters to vote for their slate of candidates.. anyway, i noted that k.rudd has made a video in chinese, aimed apparently at mainland china.

i am back from bakersfield and i can say it was the best district convention ever!

the end is coming soon, a few of the annointed were speaking about 2014 possibly being the year that jehovah would destroy all the hateful apostates!

the focus of this convention was not on love or the message of the good news of the kingdom.

Worth repeating as everything... really does flow from there. Stop and think about where you would like to be and the steps on how to achieve this will become easier to see.

the first email i read this morning was from my gay xjw friend, asking if i watched this program last night ( i often do watch the program called insight, on sbs)?

i didn't in fact, as i was working.. but i've just been watching some of it - rather impressive.. so may i recommend it.

Fulltimestudent I noticed that too. The majority who were against spoke of "traditional family values" but at the same time failed to recognise the isolation for many that those values cause. There were at least a couple of religious leaders who didn't support that view (the Catholic Priest and the Muslim Sheik).

Umm... One Nation has a very different adgenda to the Democatic party. One Nation is plain scary... nothing but fear mongering and hatred with them. Not exactly known for their valuable insight either... (see cadidate upon which this thread is about).

And no, we don't want the real Sarah Palin and while you're at it... keep Rupert Murdoch over there where he belongs too please.

One Nation is a minor party here (thankfully) and not very many take them seriously. The Federal Election is on the 9th of September. Hopefully, she won't be voted into Federal Parliament.
