Fried chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy (good thick gravy), peach pie for dessert
Roast beef and mashed potatoes and beef gravy, corn and homemade rolls
Smoked baby back ribs or Pulled Pork, my famous BBQ beans, and cornbread and peach cobbler

in seeing a lot of posters threads , i feel i see many people who have been divorced at one time , and either have remarried or have stayed single .
i totally understand those who choose to stay single, as i was single for 6 years before i got married again !
as experts say, next to death it's one of the hardest experiences you'll go through !
I learned alot.
My biggest problem in relationships, is that I have no patience, at all. Things usually come very easily for me, so I don't have to work too hard at them. My ex-wife never communicated her feelings to me, and after a while just stopped communicating all together. She also hated sex, once we got married. My issue was not being there for her emotionally and also losing my patience with her. I wouldn't get upset and yell, I'd just "take over", and then it would make her feel bad.
I recently am coming off the best relationship of my life, we both worked hard at it, etc. But after a while, I realized that we weren't in similar places in life, and didn't have the same "path" for the future either.

Thanks, yeah that's a Tele that I built. I cloned a 1953 blackguard Telecaster, did everything to vintage spec, except the wiring, I went with modern wiring. The amp was my Victoria 35310 and I was using a Fender Reverb Unit, and may have been using my Fulldrive mosfet too, probably was. I only used the Tele the other night, kinda strange, usually I use my red 335

Well my favorite blues artists, would be: Freddy King, BB King, Otis Rush, Hollywood Fats, Albert Collins, Jimmie Vaughan, Nick Curran, John Lee Hooker, and Howlin Wolf. And thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it. We play primarily blues and 60's soul, then a little 50's rock, and then a couple country songs.

I think its an issue with Youtube, because when I watch it at home, the lighting is at least a lot better. Sound is roughly the same.

so tonight, i have one of my buddies over that is a fader, and we're sitting around eating some smoked pork and bbq beans that i made over the weekend.
one of our "conditional friends" called me and asked if he could pick up his mail, that he had forwarded to my house.
you see our former friend has a credit card and cell phone that he doesn't want his dub parents knowing about, so he had it forwarded to my place.
r.a.m., wow, really taking the moral high ground eh??? Well have fun with that. BTW, make sure you don't speed, or forget your seat belt, or roll a stop sign, or flatulate in public. Doing all those would be breaking Caesar's laws, which would be breaking god's laws as well... Me on the other hand, I'm just a sinner.
so this week, i broke up with my "on again off again" girlfriend of 8 months.
i came to realize that even though i cared about her immensely, i didn't see us working out long term.
that thought hit me a couple weeks ago, so i didn't think i should waste anymore of her time or mine.
And that's been what's so refreshing about the "current girl"... Since we've been friends, we've went to a lot of concerts together, we both love vintage blues and jazz, and really love swing blues. So we went out a lot, and hung out a lot listening to music or going to see local bands, and she pushes my musical side really hard, loves that I'm a musician part time, etc. We also like to have deep conversations about religion, politics, news, opinions on various hot button topics, and just hitting up local vineyards to try out new wine. Then also we love to cook, and try new restaurants, or just go drinking on the weekends. Its been such a light weight relationship thus far, with no expectations, of anything more than just having a great time. We were introduced at a blues club, by some mutual friends, and just really hit it off. So that's the full length story. But I really don't want to push anything and screw it up, that would totally suck, since I've waited so patiently on this to come around.

Thanks guys. This is really tough, because my "new girl", is confused about the situation, and is wanting to have a relationship but is having trust issues now, because, she thinks if I cheated once, what makes her any different? And that was really hard to take.
Another reason that I did this was I looked through my ex-girlfriends phone, and saw text messages sent to a lot of guys, that I wasn't comfortable with, and also phone calls coming in at some strange hours. So that made me a little skeptical about our relationship. Then she seemed overly concerned with "settling down" and wanting kids, and getting me to quit playing out in bands. Well, I love my music, and have no plans to stop anytime soon, after all, I'm still a young guy. I've got a long time to have a family and children. I want both, and would be willing to settle down if Ms. Right came knocking, but right now I just want to have fun, and have companionship without a lot of heavy expectations.
